Fireworks, a beloved creation in Japan, used for many celebrations.
Tonight, Mondo and Kiyotaka are graduating Hopes Peak and fireworks are being shot in the backgrounds of the school property.
Though, many people were bringing their dates to these fireworks with them.

Akane and Fuyuhiko were going together, camping under a willow tree with a picnic basket full of light cucumber sandwiches, wine glasses, and a bottle of wine they begged Yasuhiro to buy for them.
Gundham and Ibuki were camping near a small man-made pond to feed the ducks whilst they watched.
Celeste and Toko were going to the school balcony and watch from up there while marveling at each other.

Mondo, on the other hand, really wanted to take Taka and watch from the dorm windows since Mondo didn't know where to go.
While Kiyotaka already had a spot reserved, set up, and cleaned up for him to spend his time to watch.
Mondo finally took this as a chance to ask Taka out, but playing it off as a platonic thing if things backfire.

"Oh hello Mondo! The graduation is soon! Your uniform! You're not even ready to get your diploma!"
Kiyotaka fret as Mondo knocked at his door at 5:47 PM.
"O-OH YEAH-"
Mondo went to shout nervously.
"You're shouting...you must be nervous as all above for this! Please, allow me!"
Kiyotaka grabbed his friend's wrist and dragged him next door to his dorm.
Soon Kiyotaka grabbed Mondo's graduation uniform and handed it over to him.
"Put this on!"
Mondo awkwardly waited there with clothes in his arms.
"What are you waiting for?!"
"Y-YOURE NOT G-GONNA LOOK AWAY-??"
"We're brothers! Also, there's no time for nonsense!"
Mondo awkwardly stripped to his boxers before putting on the uniform.
"T-there.."
Mondo huffed before looking to see Kiyotaka's gleeful eyes.
"You look great brother! Oh, let's do something with your eyeliner! You like it when it's nice and smooth right?"
Kiyotaka grabbed Mondo's wrist against and pulled him into the small bathroom.
"H-HEY-!"
Mondo didn't understand what was going on, too much at once.
Kiyotaka had eyeliner in his hand, ready to get to work.
"Sit down please brother!"
Mondo sat on the toilet.
Kiyotaka sat on Mondo's lap before carefully applying the eyeliner to Mondo's red, steamy face.
Before they knew it, it was 5:55 and Kiyotaka was forcing Mondo out the door.
They just barely got there at 5:58.

After the graduation, Mondo knew he had to ask, but by time he saw Taka, he had his entire camping spot put out!
A soft cherry blossom themed blanket under a conveniently sized block of wood to hold a metal container of meat and seafood, a bowl of rice, a container of stacks of seaweed and a empty bowl with chopsticks and a spoon.
"Holy shit..."
"Brother! Please, come sit!"
Kiyotaka patted the spot next to him before Mondo sat down awkwardly.
Mondo began to speak;
"Bro...I-I was thinking..w-we co-"
"Watch the fireworks together like the great brothers we are? Of course!"
Kiyotaka wrapped his arm around Mondo's shoulder whilst laughing.
"Yeah..."
Mondo forced a fake awkward laugh.
Soon, it was midnight, and the sky was dark and littered with beautiful twinkling stars.
Kiyotaka sat in awe, mesmerized by the marvelous scene in front of him.
Soon, the fireworks started.
Mondo was eating casually whilst Kiyotaka was talking small bites every once of a while, just in complete awe.
They rose up high before exploding in beautiful rays of color and light, sparkling among the stars they displayed themselves in front of.
Kiyotaka's eyes reflected the beauty, his gorgeous wine red eyes wide in astonishment.
Mondo looked over to his friend...he felt a wrench in his stomach.
He knew this was the right moment.
"Kiyotaka..."
Mondo placed his hand on the prefect's shoulder.
Kiyotaka was still too mesmerised to pay much attention.
"I-I..."
A knot grew in Mondo's throat.
"Have always....l-loved you..."
Kiyotaka's eyes dot down to Mondo, now reflecting Mondo's hot red face.
"S-SHIT YOU HEARD ME-!"
Mondo backed away nervously.
Kiyotaka's pale figure turned rosey.
"Y-You..feel romantic...feelings towards me...?!"
He said in astonishment.
Mondo aggressively nodded.
A huge dorky smile grew on Kiyotaka's face as tears brimmed his wine red eyes.
"Mondo I love you too!"
He shouted as he wrapped his arms around Mondo.
Mondo froze in shock before quickly returning the favour.
Mondo was so proud of himself he was getting incredibly cocky.
"B-BRO-! CAN I KISS YOU-???"
Mondo asked very loudly.
Kiyotaka aggressively nodded.
Mondo crashed his lips onto Taka's, one hand on his hip and the other on the back of his head.
Taka, new to this, just wrapped his arms around Mondo's shoulders.
The two beautifully embraced each other as fireworks exploded in the air and students roared in awe.
Little did they know...they weren't the only couple kissing during this special event.
