nancy was in despair, she turned down robin, well as she thought. robin liked her, and she liked robin too. she lied down on her bed, she was regretting the fact that she didn't tell robin how she felt. it was honestly terrible for her, now robin hates her, god. or, maybe robin thought that she hated her, but it was not true at all.

nancy was thinking about what to say to robin, "should i just go to her house right now?" yeah, well that could do, but she didn't want to face robin after what happened earlier, she felt like a fool, yes she is. she stood up from her bed and paced around her room, she was holding her chin looking like a detective solving a case. a sudden thunder echoed in the sky, nancy flinched and gasp, "no, no. robin hates the rain, she hates thunder." it sucks, like very sucks.

she thought about the poor girl that was left in the rain, she was just probably gonna walk home, it was very dark and dangerous, nancy knew it was a dick move for her to do, leaving robin in the rain like some abandoned belonging that no one cared for.  "i'm so sorry, robin.." she just whispered and sat down again on her bed, head in her palms while her tears matched with the rain's rhythm.

--

the short girl went to the kitchen the next morning, hair all messy and eyes puffy. "good mor-- nance? what happened?" mike turned his back to nancy who was looking like a corpse. "huh? yeah yeah. all good.." nancy said, and mike was not convinced one bit. he just nodded and pretended not to be worried with nancy, but deep inside hell he is. nancy was such a bitch and he admitted that, be she's still his sister. "breakfast" the boy asked and nancy shook her head, "i'll have coffee instead, thanks for the offer though." nancy poured the brewed coffee in her cup and yawned. "mm, that's more like it." she licked her lips and went to her room.

she placed the cup in her desk, not knowing what to do aside from drinking her coffee. it was clearly a brand new day, but the skies tell otherwise, it was still raining and the rain frights nancy if she was gonna be honest. the girl sighed and sat on the chair beside her desk, sipping her coffee once more. not long after she finished her coffee, she sat up straight, now knowing what to say to robin.

a few days had passed and nancy learned that mike's friends were coming for a movie night whatsoever.

"hey nance! will you join us later? i'm doing a headcount." mike suddenly appeared on nancy's door which made the girl startled.

"for god's sake mike, can you please knock first?! you're gonna give me a heart attack." she threw a pillow at mike, pissed that her brother didn't even bother knocking when he knew that she was doing something important, well for nancy, it was.

"so? are you joining?" mike has his eyebrows raised up, "hmm, i don't know. who's gonna be there?" nancy asked, her tone was clearly stating that she wasn't interested. but she did miss hanging out with her brother.

"el, obviously. will, dustin, lucas, max, erica, steve, eddie and chrissy. maybe holly could join but i don't really know." mike stated. nancy was confused, steve is coming but robin isn't? weird. but chrissy was there and the two were starting to get along a little bit. so she nodded, wanting to join and forced mike to get out of her room.

if robin isn't gonna go, maybe it's the perfect time to go to her house and approach her. nancy made her mind, she's not gonna run away this time, she doesn't want to be a fool infront of robin now. "it's now or never." nancy mumbled and looked out on her window.

nighttime approaches as the kids started coming one by one, nancy was confused on why they were all already settled but steve, chrissy and eddie haven't arrived yet. well, this is a good time for her to go to robin, she was sure that she can come back before their hangout ends.

just then, a knock was heard and nancy held the door. her eyes widened at the sight of four people at their doorstep. there was steve and eddie at the front, while chrissy was with robin. "won't ya let your visitors in, wheeler?" eddie asked and dustin appeared behind nancy. "eddie! come on in!" dustin said and high-fived him and steve.

nancy made way for them, and before she closed the door, she eyes chrissy who was clinging on robin's arm. her eyes scanned both of the girls and her heart dropped, robin has a bandage on her right ankle. maybe that's why chrissy was clinging onto her because she was supporting robin so that the tall girl could walk properly.

nancy was disappointed in herself, she knew she caused robin's injury. she felt truly bad. well, she promised herself that she would confess her feelings to robin. she's just waiting for the right time to say it.
