"Seriously?" I groaned. MK rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
When we arrived at Sandy's boat, it was covered with messy globs of paint, and sitting down in the middle of it all was another one of MK's clones. Only this one seemed more unhinged.
I sighed in frustration, only to stop abruptly to see the insane clone approach a tied up Sandy with a paintbrush menacingly.
Oh heck no. Not the uncle figure.
"Missed a spot!"
"What?! Where?!" The clone gasped as he vanished in a blast of light and hair. Sandy was momentarily confused. Then, he got hold of what was going on.
"Hey, guys. Mystic Monkey Business?" Sandy chuckled awkwardly. I went to help him out of the ropes binding him.
"Yeah." MK muttered.
"So, uh, how many of those things did you make?" Sandy asked. I took one look at his half-bald scalp, and sighed.
This is gonna be a long day. I thought as I managed to successfully get Sandy out of the ropes.

Me and MK slammed open the doors to the arcade.
"Alright, Party Clone!! Where's Mei?!" I demanded as I lit my hands aflame.
Party MK only laughed. "Oh-ho-ho! OG MK and Em in the house, yo!"
"I don't even know what that means!" MK groaned. "Where is she?!"
Party MK snickered. Behind him, two massive walls split apart to reveal a giant claw machine. And dangling from the said claw tied up was—
"MEI!" I shouted, panicked.
"Hey, guys." Mei yelled back, sounding tired. "Mystic Monkey Business? MK, you're really bad at making clones by the way."
"Hand her over you... Me. Uh, we?" MK was confused. I thought for a second, but just decided to let it go.
"Cool your jets, my dudes! You wanna get to me? You gotta go through my boyyys!" Party MK pressed a button, and MK and I were suddenly launched into the air. The lights turned on to reveal many, many evil looking MK clones staring at us menacingly.
"Why did you make so many MKs, MK?!" Mei and I shouted together at the boy.
"Oops! My finger slipped!" Party MK pressed another button, and opened up a blazing hole that would incinerate Mei in seconds. Mei screamed.
"MEI!" Me and MK shouted. I turned to MK.
"Think you could deal with your clones while I help Mei?" I asked him.
"Uhm..."
"Too late! Good luck, MK!" I used my fire to help propel me through the air, over the party clone, and onto the small ledge of the claw machine.
"Alright, I can do this! Just hang on, Mei!" I exclaimed.
"Please hurry!" I heard her shout back.
I pulled back my fist, and ignited it with blue fire. Then, I started to punch the glass. A dumb move, I know, but the last thing I wanted was for Mei to be obliterated. Somehow, my arm and hand managed to not get seriously injured, despite the blue fire surrounding it. Maybe the author just doesn't know how to write this part and is losing moti-
(I'm gonna stop you right there and move on, because this chapter has been delayed for far too long.)
Fair enough.
I didn't need to wait long for reinforcements though, because suddenly, MK slammed his staff into the glass and shattered the whole thing. I shielded my face with my arms, and got a few small cuts as a result. I saw the rope holding Mei up fall off it's hook from the impact, and swooped in to catch her.
"Gotcha!" I giggled as I helped untie her. After getting her out of her bindings and helping her up, we turned just in time to see all of MK's clones start flooding the giant claw machine. Shrieking, we cling onto each other to brace for impact.
One giant explosion of light and hair later, and the three of us dropped down to deal with the final clone.
"One to go." Smirked Mei as she pointed over to the clone. The clone grew nervous, seeing he was cornered, and tried a last-ditch attempt in order to save himself.
"Wait! Mei! Em! How do you know I'm not the real MK?! There's two of us at this porty!" Then he looked down at his attire, realizing how dumb that was.
"Oh."
Me, MK, and Mei smirked at each other, and MK did some fancy kung-fu to get rid of the clone. One dramatic exit later, and the final clone was finally vanquished.
"Finally!" I gasped in relief and exhaustion. I turned to Mei in worry.
"That clone didn't really hurt you, did he? You're alright?" I asked, checking her for injuries. Mei took my arms and held them up.
"Uh, what about you, Miss I-Punched-A-Glass-Wall-To-Get-To-Me? Look at your arms! They've seen better days for sure." Mei huffed. I quickly pulled my arms away and hid them behind my back, face flushed.
"Uh, I'm fine! Ha ha! But yeah, I'm fine if you're fine." I smiled, trying to shake off the butterflies in my stomach.
"Don't worry about me, I'm fine! Though, we should get you Band-AIDS." Mei suggested. I nodded, and we turned to MK, who looked guilty.
"Nice work, baldy." Mei chuckled. He groaned.
"Aw man, what was I thinking?" MK grumbled.
"Don't worry, bud. We gotchu!" Mei and I showed him clumps of his hair. Carefully, we placed it on his forehead.
"Is it noticeable?" MK asked.
Mei, with a clump of leftover hairs, put it on her face like a beard and stroked it.
"Not at all, my boy." She said, trying to make her voice sound like an old man. We all burst out laughing.
"Ew, don't stroke it!" MK laughed.
"Wait, give that! I have a much better impression!"
"Noooo, get your own!"
"Aw, man ;-;"
