"Now this is a beautiful carrot! Couple more finds like this baby and we're golden!"
Sighing, Tang snagged the carrot out of the pig's hands, narrowing his eyes at it. "Looks the same as the last 20,000 carrots we've looked at." He groaned.
"20,015, actually." Ember piped up, not looking up from her phone. "But then again, I'm the only one who really keeps track of the numbers around here."
"Give me that!" Grunted Pigsy. "I wouldn't expected you to appreciate a fine carrot like this! You guys ain't no culinary geniuses! Like me!"
Ember finally looked up from her phone, looking a bit insulted. "I know how to cook my own bowl of noodles!" She protested, pouting. "That should be enough to make me a culinary genius."
Pigsy waved his hand dismissively. "Sure, sure, kiddo."
"My, my, my..."
The trio turned their heads to see a purple lady with ebony hair emerge from the shadows of a shifty-looking stand. "You lot are making quite a scene! Looking to buy some ingredients? Something tasty?"
Pigsy stared at the lady with wide eyes, Tang looked bored and unimpressed, while Ember was looking the woman up and down suspiciously.
"You've come to the right place," she continued, before blowing a kiss.
Tang blinked, before waving for the other two to follow him. "Uh, come on guys. Let's go—"
He stopped when he noticed Pigsy wasn't with the group anymore, and was instead leaning against the pole of the lady's stand. Ember watched the interaction with a face of little emotion.
"Well. Twenty bucks Pigsy actually hits it off." She told Tang.
"Stop that. Let's just get him away from there before he humiliates himself." Tang shoved down the possibility of a bet and dragged Ember along with him.
"You uh, selling beautiful vegetables today?" Pigsy was asking, keeping his eyes on the woman. The other two looked down to see a sorry supply of only a few rotten ingredients.
"Is...Is he blind?" Tang whispered to Ember. The blue-haired demon shrugged.
"That's right, sugar. This is the finest store in the whole market. Why don't you come on back and look at my... exclusive wares?" The woman beckoned the group forward as she vanished into the shadows. Pigsy made to follow her, before being grabbed back by Tang.
"Pigsy, I'm not sure, uh..."
"Don't wreck this for me! I need this!" The pig shot back, before following after the woman. Tang groaned and followed after him. Ember sighed, pocketed her phone, and went behind the two.
"A little closer... a liiiittle closer..." She urged. Tang and Pigsy suddenly stepped onto a platform, and fell with a scream. Gasping, Ember scrambled back. She barely had any time to scream before a stringy cocoon enveloped her body and dragged her where her friends had fallen.

Groaning, the first thing Ember saw when she awoke was spider webs. Lots and lots of spider webs.
Shrieking, she tried to run away only to find that she was tied up in a cocoon of spider webs. Her movements caused the giant web she was on to wildly shake.
"Kid! Calm down. It's alright!"
The girl ceased her shaking to see Pigsy and Tang tied up next to her. It was Pigsy who made the attempt to comfort her.
"Alright? Alright?! Do you realize where we are right now?!! Who exactly captured us?!!" She exclaimed at the two older adults.
"Uh, no. W...Who?" Tang asked, suddenly very worried.
