i kicked billy and he let go of me and i ran away from him. he suddenly stopped and went out the door and got into his car, we ran outside but he had already drove off. where is he going?!
"come on kid, let's go." hopper and i ran to his car and i got in the front seat. we planned to meet at starcourt and so that's where we went. as soon as we got there i ran out of the car and ran inside.
"MIKE!" will, dustin and lucas ran over and hugged me.
"you guys are acting like you haven't seen me in years."
"yeah mike it's been five years" lucas said dramatically. we all walked over to everyone else.
"the host is billy, which is why he came after us. he knew where el was, somehow." suddenly we heard something walking on the glass, we looked up and there it was. the monster. hopper picked el up and carried her to go hide. i grabbed wills hand. steve looked at dustin and robin, then lucas looked in a different direction.
"ERICA?!" we all looked over at her.
"what the hell is on the roof?" we all ran into different directions because of the glass on the roof breaking. me, will, dustin and lucas went to go hide behind some car. erica followed. will was shaking, dustin was covering his face, and lucas was taking deep breaths. erica didn't know how to react. i held will's hand and squeezed it, both of our hands shaking. the monster growled lowly. it's after el. i looked at lucas, signaling for him to give me the wrist rocket. i wanted to direct its attention upstairs so as many people could get out. i grabbed one rock, shakily stood up, and shot a glass window upstairs. then, lucas and dustin ran but will stayed with me. i looked at him and all he did was smile. i inhaled and exhaled, then shot another rock upstairs, i wanted el to get out. then i saw hopper, el, max, and joyce running out. where is nancy, steve, jonathan and robin?! i have to go find them. i grabbed wills hand and ran into a store to hide. i saw them running. perfect. i grabbed wills shoulders.
"hey will. im going to distract it, just run. i'll be out, okay? i'll be right out." then i heard eleven screaming, i looked behind me and she was using her powers to try and defeat the monster, don't we need to close the gate though?
"HOLY SHIT ELEVEN!" will screamed and i liked back at el, she was on the ground trying to get away from the monster. without thinking i ran towards her and picked her up. i cant leave will in here alone, so i looked at him.
"WILL COME ON!" i felt one of the monsters arms stab me. i felt dizzy, but i quickly got away from it and will ran towards me. everything was blurry.
"w-will?"
"mike come on it's okay let's go." i saw two people run inside and one took el from me, next thing i knew i was being carried.
"stay awake for me okay?" wills voice. i reach out for his hand and he grabbed it, i felt safe. everything was going black.
"i-i can't see!" i started crying, i heard wills shaky voice again.
"keep your eyes open for me. we're almost there." i didn't realize i was laying in wills lap but when i did i sat up and held on to his neck. he was holding something on my chest where i was attacked. just stay awake mike stay awake. i was being carried again but not by will. then i blacked out.
