I looked out the window of this stupid school. It was Forks High. My family and I were returning here since everyone we knew was dead. Well, everyone except my family (the Cullens) and my Jacob's wolf pack. Jake and I had been " just friends" until I tuned 16 last month. My father (Edward) kept telling me I could do better, but I don't really care. I love him. I turned my gaze to Jake. He was actually listening to the teacher! I groaned quietly and he looked quickly to me. He couldn't stand one second of my being in pain. But it was fun to mess with him.

I didn't even glance at him, just doodled Sam's name in my notebook. He growled almost silently, but dad (who I had to call Edward, by the way) gave him a menacing glance. I gently laughed and mom (Bella) shook her head at me. Edward and Bella were sitting behind us. I looked at Jake's dark eyes and he bent down so I could touch his face with my cool-but-not-cold palm. When I did, I thought, Just kidding. Then about our first kiss...and second...and third. I pulled away when Edward made a rude choking noise. I scrubbed out what I had written, and replaced it with Jake's name. He put his hand on my back and watched me doodle the rest of that period. When we got out of class, I found Aunt Alice and Uncle Jasper in the library. They were talking almost too low for meek humans to hear. I waved and looked down in shyness when Aunt Alice smiled. She had given me a whole new closet, since I wouldn't age anymore. I had picked out a tight blue sweater and a white skirt. It SO wasn't cold to me, so I could work my pale legs. I sat beside Uncle Jasper and he stopped tapping his pen on the table. I figured Edward and Bella had gone to make out in the hall, because, well, that's what Jake and I had just done. He had to eat, though. Jasper and Alice were staring at me with huge topaz eyes. "What?" I whispered in my musical voice. They looked at each other and shook their heads. I rolled my bright brown eyes and headed to the door. Alice stopped me in the hall with one icy hand.

She said, "Your lip gloss is gone. I have a feeling a wolf's wearing it. Am I right? I hope not."

I said, "Well, now the lip gloss company can't say it hasn't been tested on animals." She thought for a second and whispered, "Your dad is going to kill him when he finds out." I said, "I never intended on telling him, anyways." Then I waltzed down the hall before Emmett could make kissy noises at me. When I got to science class, though, I couldn't avoid him. Emmett and Rosalie sat next to me.

It was like: Jake on the last seat, then me, Rosalie, and on the other end is Emmett. I smiled timidly at Rose and she grimaced my way. I wrote on a piece of paper, "What did I do, Aunt Rosy?" She LOVED it when I called her that. She wrote back, "Nice try, Ness. You smell like dog...and he smells like you." I rolled my eyes and wrote back, "Predjudice. It's ironic that you hate him when he hates you, but you both love me. Only difference is he's hot-in both ways." She cocked her head to the side and pushed the paper to Emmett. I jumped across the table trying to get it. But Jake pulled me back, grabbing my waist and jerking me back before the teacher saw me. Emmett chuckled and Rose whispered, "You do know you're wearing a skirt, right?" I blushed and hid my face in my hair, occasionally peeking at Jake, who was staring at the floor, a huge smile on his face, making Rose mad. I HOPE U LIKED IT!!!!!!! :D
