28: Game Over

Manik's pov

"Manik please please wait" she followed me holding my arm

"Alya leave me your game is over"

"Manik please it was a mistake I never wanted to cheat you it just happened please listen to me try to understand me"

"Oh really Alya? That is why you thought to use this child to play with me? You are ridiculous I can't believe you. Alya I know I have done wrong with you, I cheated you I shouldn't have but now I don't regret because you are cheap, you used your fucking child to get me how can you do this?"

"Manik I was scared I needed you back I am so sorry please"

"You should go back to that guy it will be good for you both" I said snatching the paper from her hand

I left!

I came to Nandini's apartment as its just 8am she must be home at this time. I won't say her to come back because I am tired of begging again and again. I will just show her. She opened the door

"Manik? What are you doing here?" I entered inside

"I told you she is lying" I said showing her the report. She reads then looked at me "the baby is not mine, she played a game on me just to get me but she failed" I added

"Why are you showing me this? What Will I do?"

"Nandini I won't say you to come back no! But at least tell me what have I done that you don't want this relation? What is the thing you are hiding?"

"Nothing"

"Nandini stop lying please stop lying"

"Why can't you understand in once! There is Nothing" she shouted

I closed my eyes controlling the anger. I am a bad temper but obviously I will never show her that side, never!

"Ok as you say, As you want but keep my words in your mind I will never sign the divorce papers, understood never!" Saying so I left

Nandini's pov

Its the night time I was going back to home when I got a call from an unknown number. I picked it up

"Hello?"

"Hello Nandini dear it's me, Asude!"

"Miss Asude, is everything okay?"

"No dear nothing is ok can you please come home Manik is not well he will hurt himself"

I got panic!

"What? What you mean what is he doing?"

"I don't know you just please come" I cut the call

Taking a cab I left for his place. As soon as I reached I ran inside to see Miss Asude sitting worriedly on the chair

"What happened where is he?"

"In his room he has messed up everything his hand is bleeding his foot has a piece of glass in it I said I will call the doctor but he denied saying leave me alone, I am really worried"

"Calm down I will handle" I left to his room

I opened the door but it was locked, I knocked but there was no reply I again knocked

"I said leave me alone I don't want to talk to anyone, I don't need any help, just go" he shouted on his top voice. It gave me a shiver!

"Manik its me, Nandini I want to talk to you please open the door"

"Nandini I am really angry at this moment just please go I don't want to hurt you" this time his voice was calmer

I smiled unknowingly!

"Manik please open the door, please...for me!" I said continuously knocking

After of a while he opened the door, he was literally messed as like he cried. He sat on bed while I too followed him. I sat on my knees keeping his foot on my lap

"Nandini don't do this" he said but I held his foot

"Manik let me just hold your breathe for a second" I said

He closed his eyes while I took out the glass, he hissed. I took out the first aid box from the drawer wiping the blood then covering it with the bandage. After that I did the same with his hand

"What are you doing Manik?" I finally asked breaking the silence

"Nothing"

"Manik stop hurting yourself"

"Why you care? You still love Abhi right? Go and find him" I wiped my tear

"I will find him later but right now we are talking about you, Manik I won't be able to give you the happiness its good for both of us please try to understand, I have think a lot before taking this decision" I said

"I don't want you to make me happy Nandini I just want you by my side, I want to make you happy, My happiness is you" He said

"Please end this topic Manik I am really fed up"

"Are you really fed up? Why you given me the hopes Nandini? If you never felt anything for me if you were still in love with that cheater then why the fuck you given the hopes to me?" He almost shouted

"I thought I am feeling something for you but I was wrong-" he start laughing

"And here I was trying to get rid of Alya for you How stupid I am to do these things? I should have knew that It will never happen. I was stupid" he get up roaming here and there

"Manik calm down"

"I can't, I can't calm down I can't! Can't you see me? What I have become, An alcoholic, I even start taking drugs because of you" he shouted

I was shocked to listen, I never imagined this! When he fallen in love with me that much?

"Manik are you insane? How can you? Don't you fucking care about anyone? What about your parents, friends and the one who love you? Why are you only thinking about yourself? Your life your love your everything what about others? What they want can't you just think for others? How can you be so selfish?" I shouted

"Yes I am selfish, I am selfish because I fucking love you and I can do anything for you. I don't care about anyone else. You are not less then me you also just thought about yourself, whatever you are hiding is your profit that is why you are leaving you want to get apart. We aren't different from each other or maybe you found someone more richer and more handsome then me who fucks you good in bed then me" he shouted while I slapped him hard

"I can't believe you, you think so low for me? I found someone? Really Manik you have gone insane"

"Oh really? Then tell me what are you hiding? Don't you have courage? What sin have you done that you can't reveal?-"

That was enough!

"I can't be a mother!" I finally Shouted He stopped on his place "Have you listened? Yes it is my sin that I can't ever give a birth, I can't feel the feeling, I can never become a mother"

I collapsed down on floor crying hard!
