"Hello?... Hello? Are you there miss?" I picked up the phone back Controlling myself
"Is he fine? Where is he?"
"He is in the XYZ hospital and his condition is quite serious it will be good if you come as soon as possible" I cut the call running out
I was in tears I was scared, I just hope its nothing serious I hope he is fine!
Asking the location I ran to the ICU an unknown person was standing there talking with the doctor
"Excuse me doctor I want to know about The patient in the ICU"
"The one who met with an accident?" He asked while I nodded "Who you are?"
"I am his Wife can you please tell me how is he?" I was really scared
"His condition is really critical he got head injury Just hope for the good news not bad" saying so he left
I tried to control my tears but off course I wasn't able to.
"Calm down miss he will be fine surely just pray" the guy standing there said
"Who are you?"
"Well I am the one who called you and I was the one who brought him here" He said
"How this happened?" I asked
"He was over speeding and ended colliding with the tree" he said
"Its all because of me its all because of me he got worried for me how can I do this. I shouldn't have lied to him Because of me he is fighting with death, I just wish he will be fine soon" I said to myself
"I guess I should go now" he said and left

Its been 3 hours and he is still unconscious I am sitting beside him waiting for him to do a moment but I guess I have to wait more
Manik's pov
I slowly opened my eyes adjusting the light to see myself in hospital I looked around to see a girl sleeping beside me putting her head on the bed.
I held my head as it was paining while my other hand was held by her. I tried to move and she waken up instantly
"Manik you are awake? Doctor! Doctor!" She starts shouting and doctor came running, He checked me
"So Manik how are you feeling?"
"Better just head is paining a bit"
"That's because your head is injured" he said
"When can I go home?"
"First I will do some tests after that you can leave" He left with the nurse
"Manik you scared me" she said
"Uhmm, sorry miss but do I know you?" I asked being confused
"Wh... What you mean? I am Nandini Manik" she said
"Ok But I don't know you? Are you some of my relative or what?"
"Manik I am your... Wife!" She said and I was shocked
"What?" Are you serious? This can't be the truth!"
"Manik its the truth you don't remember anything?" She asked Being scared
"No! Is there anything I should remember? I mean I remember my parents I just came to America to start my business" I told
"After?"
"What after? Just this! What happened afterwards?"
"Manik you really don't remember anything?"
"Why would I lie miss?"
"Ok ok calm down I will tell the doctor"
She left!
It's been 3 days and I am back home not fully recovered but yeah this house is much better then the hospital
This girl is really taking good care of me I don't know when will I remember why and when I married her and how?
"Manik do you need anything?" She asked
"Sit here" she did
"Are you fine?"
"Yes, I just want to ask some questions from you!"
"What?"
"How we met? I mean how we fallen in love?"
"We never fallen in love"
"Then how we got married? Forced?"
"No or maybe yes, Actually you were in a relationship with your University friend Alya and I was in a relationship with his brother Abhimanyu"
"So? We both ditched them?"
"Let me finish at least"
"Ok sorry! I won't interfere"
"I was going to marry him after of a 5 years relationship as your parents and my chacha chachi are best friend you was also invited and you came as well. On the marriage day Abhi backed off saying he can't do this marriage he is not ready. So Your parents forced you to marry me for the sake of reputation and My family lied to me that Abhi is here for the marriage..." She stopped
"So we got married?"
"Yeah!"
"But what you did when you find out about me?"
"Obviously I was shocked, shattered as my family lied to me and took the most important decision of my life without even telling or asking me"
"So then?"
"Then nothing We agreed for the divorce but it was rejected so you suggested to give this relation a chance of 1 month and we agreed"
"So we were giving the chance to our relationship?"
"No not anymore because we find out about our feelings, we fallen in love" she said
"How I realized about my feelings?"
"I don't know you still haven't told me"
"And what about you? How you confessed?"
"I hadn't yet I was planning to do but that day only your accident happened" she said being said "Manik I am sorry it was all because of me, I was ignoring you so that I won't ruin the surprise I was planning for your birthday even on your bday I lied to you saying I am not feeling well and off course you got panicked and this happened, I am so sorry. I will never do this again in my life" she was crying
I hugged her caressing her hairs
"Its ok Nandini it was meant to be you don't have to feel sorry and see I am fine right? Nothing serious happened I just lost some parts of my life but I will get them back soon don't worry" I consoled
"What if you won't be able to?" She asked
"Then we will make new memories of us" I said and she smiled "By the way what surprise you made for my birthday?"
"I thought of proposing you!" She said with a blush
"You can propose me now" She looked at me shockingly
"Now?"
"Yeah I mean what's wrong in that?"
"Nothing"
"Then do" She closed her eyes taking a deep breathe, she again looked at me holding my hands in hers
"Manik I love you" she finally said
"And I love you too my love" She looked at me shockingly while I smirked
