44: The Day!

Nandini's pov

Its finally the day. Our day!

I am sitting in my room while Chloe, Nandini, Chachi and Unaty Aunty are presented here as well as some makeup artist.

I have worn the dress Which Manik has especially designed for me and the designer is none other then Chloe.

I am all nervous I don't know why? It feels like Its my first time and with some unknown guy but no it isn't then why?

"So how are you feeling?" Navya asked

"The feeling is unexplainable Navya. I am happy, nervous scared at the same time"

"It happens dear no need to worry moreover he is Manik only your already husband" Unaty aunty said while I smiled

"I know!"

"And its done... Gosh just look at you girl looking breath taking beautiful. Manik was right this suit is definitely gonna suit you this dress is made for you only" Chloe said

"Thanks Chloe, The credit goes to you only" I said

"I know I know after all I am the best designer in the world babes" I chuckled

"Ok ok enough we are getting late, Manik will faint with the curiosity let's go!" Chachi said while We all laughed

Manik's pov

I am sitting on a seat in Church while the guests have arrived as well as Cabir, Dad and Chacha ji also present here. I am seriously dying with the curiosity I want to see her in that dress as soon as possible.
Moreover that I want to get married to her.

"The bride is here. The bride is here!" I listened the gossips while I stood up instantly

"Finally you bride is here, now go on the stage" Cabir said and I ran on the stage

My eyes stick on the entrance and here she comes wearing the dress with a messy bun along with a white net dupata covering her head

My eyes got wet I don't know why, the dream of mine finally came to an end. I finally saw her in this dress. I finally saw her in a bridal look all for me, just me!

I wiped away the tear caught my eyes

"Aww Nandini he is crying!" Navya said and she looked at me.

"No I am not!" I said

"Oh please I saw you With my own eyes dude stop lying!" Cabir said while I rolled my eyes

"Ok stop teasing my man, so what if he cried?" Nandini said and I smiled

"Ok ok enough the father is here, take your places" Chachi said

We took our places standing in front of each other with a smile plastered on our faces. The father started while everyone stood up

"We are gathered here in the presence of God, family, and friends to unite Manik Malhotra and Nandini Murtiy in holy matrimony... Marriage is an honorable estate, and is therefore not to be entered into lightly, but reverently, advisedly, soberly, and with God's blessing. Today, they will receive God's greatest gift; another person to share with, grow with, change with, be joyful with, and to stand with as one when trials and tribulations enter their lives. It is fitting, therefore, that we should on this occasion begin by asking for God's blessing on this marriage. Let us pray.

Heavenly Father, we gather to celebrate your gift of love, and its presence among us. We rejoice that these two people have chosen to commit themselves to a life of loving faithfulness to one another. We praise you, Lord, for the ways you have touched our lives with loving relationships such as Manik and Nandini's, and we give thanks for the special love and friendship you have put in their hearts. Renew within us an affectionate and loving spirit. Enrich our lives with the gracious gift of your love so that we may embrace others with that same love. May our participation in this celebration of love and commitment, give to us a new joy and responsiveness to the relationships that we cherish. In your loving arms, we pray, Amen...You may all be seated."
