One Week - Luke Hemmings

Chapter 3

"The plane has landed earlier and we have to stay in the airport for one hour to wait for the bus that takes us to our hotel. So, guys, what do you want to do?" Skylar says after she took our baggages.

"I'm hungry" James says.

"Yeah, me too. Andrew approves.

"We could go to McDonald's, it's right there" I say pointing to the fast-food.

"It's not KFC, but I guess that's ok" Sky smiles.

"I'll go to occupy a table because that place seems quite crowded, while you're waiting for your baggages" I say.

"Alright then" Andrew approves me.

I go to the cash desk and order my usual meal: hamburger, fries, Sprite and ice-cream. After I pay, I sit down at the last free table.

"Sorry, can I stay here for a minute?" a tall blonde boy asks me after 3 minutes since I've sat down.

"Yeah, sure" I mumble looking right into his blue eyes. I think I saw him somewhere, but I don't really know where.

"You're eating fries with ice-cream?" He says pointing to my meal. "Gosh, I already like you" he laughs with a little sparkle in his eyes.

"They're absolutely delicious, I don't know why everybody hates this combination" I say very enthusiastic.

"Yeah, I know what you say" the blonde guy replies. "Do you-" he starts but he's interrupted by my phone ringing, now with a Green Day song.

"I'm right in the front of the fast-food" I say fast and I hang up, looking at the boy right in front of me. He is looking into his phone, putting his eyebrows together and typing a message.

"Sorry, I've got to go" he says. "Thanks for the place - what did you say it was your name? he asks smiling. He has the most sincerely smile I've ever seen, and that's quite weird because his lip ring is there for another reason.

"I-Irene" I stutter.

"Nice name. Thanks for the seat, Irene" he smiles leaving in a complete hurry.

"OH MY GOD, THAT WAS LUKE HEMMINGS?" I hear Skylar screaming from 2 meters.

"Who?" I ask confused.

"From 5 seconds of summer, that australian band. OMG, that was really him. What did you talk to him? Tell me all about him" Skylar obsesses

"Whoa, calm down. At least, now I know from where do I know him" I say so calm that I annoy Skylar. "He just asked me for a seat, that's all"

"No, you talked more, tell me about it!!" she almost screams.

"Ok, ok" and I start telling her every single detail, not forgetting anything. "Where are the boys, by the way? "

"My Gosh Irene, you're so freaking lucky. And Luke was so sweet, even if I still don't understand how could somebody like this" she says pointing to my fries combined with my ice-cream. "I can't believe you didn't ask for an autograph or you didn't take a picture with him. And the boys decided to eat at Subway". Skylar says still in shock.

"He's just a normal teenager, God. Now eat something" I tell Skylar while I take another frie and dip it into my ice-cream.

*Luke's POV*

"What's your fucking problem, Calum?" I answer my phone on a rude tone.

"Whoa, chill out man" Calum says trying to calm me down. "Have you arrived? Of course you have, otherwise you wouldn't answer. We have to repeat for tomorrow's concert, don't tell me you forgot."

"I didn't, but I went to eat something. I'm by the stage in 20 minutes." I answer and hang up. I take a taxi and in 15 minutes I'm there.

"So, this is the order of the songs we're going to sing tomorrow. Is this ok for ya?" Ashton comes by me and tells me.

"It's all right, I guess" I say looking down at the list.

"Why are you so cocky today, mate? New York for three more days is this bad?" Calum mockeries me.

"New York is great, but today I'm not really in the mood."

"Okay, but you just have to sing to be sure everything's ok tomorrow. It's quite of a big deal." Calum says very serious.

It's not like I'm already nervous about this, he needs to make me more and more.

Irene's POV:

The bus has arrived after another 15 minutes of waiting and he dropped us by our hotel surprisingly fast, so now I'm sitting with Skylar in our room and we unpack our things. Suddenly, we hear a knock on the door.

"Yeah?" I say as I open the door.

"So, we talked to the teachers and the schedule is very cool. Today we're gonna visit the city a little bit and tomorrow you must to choose from like 3 activities with 3 different young instructors, but the activities are still a "surprise" until the evening." James says coming into our room and sitting down on an armchair right in front of our beds.

"That's kind of really cool" Sky says when James finishes. "When are we leaving today?"

"In like an hour" Andrew says staying in the other armchair, near James.

"We have to take a shower and maybe relax a little, so we'll see you in one hour in the reception, ok? I ask as I see they won't move.

"Ok, but if you want we could have a shower together, the world really needs the water" James says with a pervert smile.

"Yeah, right now it doesn't" I say fast and pull him out of our room, and close the door after him.

All the day we've been visiting many local attractions, and it was really cool. Sidney is such an amazing city and all the people are so kind and happy all the time, you really can't do anything but love this wonderful city.

"I talked to our English teacher. She said that the dinner starts in half an hour and she will tell us the program then" Skylar comes in our room and says. We've been hanging around for another half an hour, and then we went down to the restaurant.

"Kids, tomorrow we're making separates groups and we're going to separate places. So, you can go with Alice to the mall and there you can go shopping or you can watch a movie, with Mark on the sport field or with Mirra at a concert." our English teacher says while she presents us those three "instructors": Alice, a tall girl with fair complexion, blue eyes, dark hair and some cute freckles on her nose and cheeks; Mark, a handsome well built guy with some kind of dark blond hair, and Mirra, a beautiful small blonde girl. We write on a small piece of paper our choice and our names, and we handle them to our teacher. Me and Skylar have put the concert, while all the boys, including James and Andrew, have put the sport field, and all the girls the mall. After we've eaten, we talked a little to Mirra. She's so kind and sweet, I'm so happy that I've chosen to go with her.

"Yeah?" I answer as I open the door to our room, after I've heard a knock. We went to our room after another 30 minutes that we spend talking to Mirra.

"Can we stay here fora bit?" Andrew asks, staying behind James.

"Yes, of course" Skylar replies as fast as she can from the other part of the room.

We've been playing cards and talk and laugh for almost two hours, when they decided they should leave.

"Hey, Skylar, can I talk to you for a second?" Andrew asks as he and James leave the room.

After ten minutes Skylar comes to our room with a huge smile on her face. She closes the door, sits on the bed and starts yelling "YESSSS!".

YUP GUYS THIS IS IT I'm so excited about Luke coming in the story and I don't really want to say exactly what he's thinking yet so yup and the next chapter will be quite cool I guess, I hope this is ok for you and if you have suggestions, please tell me. xx
