Luke looks right at me and then he starts singing a song called Try Hard, as Skylar told me. At the begging of the song I don't really find myself described in it, but after the chorus starts, I kinda understand why he dedicated this song to me. Luke starts singing the last strophe as he's looking all the time right at me:

"But now, who knew?
That she's in the crowd of my show
Nothing to lose,
She's standing right in the front row
The perfect view,
She came along on her own,
And there's something that you should know

You're so out of reach, and I'm finding it hard
'Cause you make me feel, you make me feel,
Yeah she makes me feel, she makes me feel"

I feel my cheeks blushing uncontrollably and I think some girls saw that I'm that "ice-cream combinated with fries" lover. But I don't really care. Nobody dedicated me anything until now and I'm so nervous. I look at Skylar and I see that she was looking at me all this whole time. She has a confused look, I think she can't believe that just happened. Neither do I. My entire body is shaking and my face seems like is blocked on a very big smile that I can't control.

Till the end of the concert, I've relaxed a bit more, but I was still nervous. I talked to Skylar only in "omg" and "I can't believe that", but neither of us haven't been able to say something more. Luke has been looking at me from time to time, when he was singing something that could describe me, but not from my point of view, maybe from his. I just can't believe that I'm so lucky. But I think this was it, after this concert I won't meet Luke again and it will become just a memory. But this will always feel nice.

"Ok, so, from that I understand that he likes you," Skylar finally finds her words.

"Well.." I start but Skylar interrupts me.

"No, you can't deny this. It can't be anything else. He likes you," Skylar says and starts smiling and jumping around.

"Maybe, but I will never see him again so let's just enjoy the rest of the concert. We have time to talk about this," I say trying to fake a small laugh.

When the concert finishes, Mirra texts Skylar that she goes with the group to wait for the boys, some girls from that group want to make some pictures with them so she has to stay to wait them.

"Do you want to go there too?" Sky asks me.

"No, it would be kinda weird. And I'm not a fan or something," I say.

Right in that moment, a bodyguard comes to us and tells us to come with him. A million thoughts come in my mind, but I'm trying to avoid them, because I don't want to have fake hopes.

"Why?" Skylar takes courage and asks.

"If I were you, I wouldn't ask silly questions. The blonde guy told me to pick her - he says pointing to me - and her friend to the backstage, so that's what I'm going to do," he says on a very rude tone.

When I hear that, my heart starts bouncing ten times faster than before.

Luke's POV

Now I understand why I was so nervous about this concert. I had a feeling that something would happen, but I didn't expect that she would be here. She doesn't seem that kind of girl that listen to our music. I don't even understand why I did that dedication, but I felt like that was the right thing to do. And it was. She looked so surprised, but in a good way. And she was so beautiful.

"Dude, what was that?" Calum asks me interrupting me from my thoughts.

"What?"

"That ice-cream fries thing."

"I thought you knew how much I adore that combination," I say trying to avoid the subject.

"Yeah, that's disgusting but yeah, I know. But did you forget to tell me something? About someone, maybe?" Calum asks raising an eyebrow.

"It's not a big deal," I say trying to avoid his look.

"It is, given the fact that you were looking at her all the time and you put the bodyguard to tell her to come here."

"What?! How do you know that?"

"I know you for some years, I can figure out some things," Calum smiles.

"So tell me, she was the blonde one or the one next to her?" he continues.

"The bown-haired one, and her name is Irene," I chuckle.

"Nice, so I can take the blonde one," Calum smirks.

"No, Calum. Please don't make any stupid things, this girl is quite different and I don't want you to flirt with her friend."

"Why? We could go on double dates and shit," he laughs.

"Not funny."

"Ok, then, how did you meet this girl?"

"We met in the airport the other day, but I couldn't really talk to her because you called me and ruined it all, as always," I say trying not to sound that rude.

"Whoa man," Calum says. "You haven't had a crush for like.. 3 years. You really like this girl, don't you?"

"I don't know, but she's different".

"LUKE HEMMINGS FELL IN LOVE!" Calum starts screaming.

"What?! No!" I say trying to cover his mouth from not saying anything stupid, because Irene could be here in any moment.

"I will make fun of you a little with this," Calum laughs and I start laughing too.

Right then, Irene and her friend enter in the backstage room with the bodyguard I've sent after them. She smiles at me as she waves her hand.

"Hi!" I say feeling like I froze again.

"Hello girls. I'm Calum Hood," he says seeing that I couldn't say anything.

"Irene Collins," she says looking at me and after at Calum.

"I'm Skylar Jensen," Irene's friend says as she smiles at the asshole next to me.

"So, we finally found somebody with the same strange taste as Luke, so we couldn't let her go away" Calum says pointing to Irene, making her blush a little and me to start laughing. "So, I'll let you two talk and I'll go with Skylar outside," he winks at me.

"Um, nice show," Irene says smiling.

"Thanks. I didn't know that you listen to our music."

"Well, I don't. But I came here with the school and me and Skylar got a front-row ticket, so yeah," she says.

"So you've just told me indirectly that we suck," I say laughing.

Irene starts laughing and then I realize how adorable she is when she's laughing.

"Well, I was quite impressed, I thought it would be much worse," she says when she stops laughing.

"Hey!" I say offended when I hear Mike yelling that we got to go to the hotel. "Would it be ok if I would ask you to give me your number so we could, maybe, go out sometimes?"

"Yeah, sure" she says before she gives me her phone number.

"Thanks. See ya."

"Bye."

I can't believe I actually did this. And my band screwed up all again. But I'm too happy to think about this.
