      Jason was always a bitch, always has been always will be. But today was extra bad. Since you started dating Eddie the "Freak" you were kicked off of the cheer team and started to become bullied pretty bad.
    Eddie always felt really bad about it all, but you assured him that it was worth being able to love him. You never let him know about the bullying though, you didn't want him to go and do something stupid. Plus the things the y said were really embarrassing.
    Today jason and his friends cornered you in the locker room and beat you up pretty bad. They left you with 2 broken ribs and threatened to do it again if you  told anybody what happened.
    You were driven to the hospital and were discharged after you were given medicine and the nurses wrapped up your torso. You told the doctor that you fell in the locker room due to all the water, and they seemed to believe it Since your parents were out of town Eddie had to pick you up.
    You could see the van through the window and he began to run toward the hospital entrance. Minutes later he busted through the door and let out a gasp of relief when he saw you smiling.
"Hey darling how are you feeling?" He asks as his hands came to cup your face.
    "As good as I can be, the pain isn't too bad" you said, giving him a reassuring smile. " Let's get you home sweetheart" then he left and I was confused for a minute. But then he came back with a wheelchair.
    You must have looked a little shocked because he said "what you really thought I was gonna let my Girl walk herself out tp my van". "No I was just admiring how cute you are" you said with a little chuckle. "Alright love, well we need to move you so stay still ill pick you up" he said, he gently picked you up being careful not to hurt you.
    Once you were on the wheel chair he moved you out to his van, and picked you up once again to put you in the passenger seat. He buckled your seat belt giving you a nice kiss on the lips.
    He started to drive off and asked " so you just fell and broke your ribs?", "y-yeah I just slipped" you stuttered out. " you were the head cheerleader and you expect me to believe that" he says with a concerened look in his eye.
    "You can tell me you know" he spoke again. You sighed preparing to tell him what really happened "well actually it was jason and his friends, it's been happening a lot recently I was just embarrassed and afraid to tell you" yoh said tears now streaming down your face.
    "Don't be afraid to tell me these things sweetheart it's Ok, and I will make sure they get what they deserve" he said reaching over to wipe your tears away. Soon after you reached Eddie's trailer, "why are we here?" You asked. "I can't let you stay alone, someone needs to take care of you and that someone will be me"
    "Your cute when your soft side comes out" you smiled, Eddie rubbed your cheek while smiling back. He softly picked you up and helped you to the door. You went to sit on ths couch but you were interrupted by Eddie going "ah ah ah your going to sleep in my bed".
    "Then where are you going to sleep?" You asked confused, "well I was hoping I could sleep with you, that sound okay darling?" He said a little nervously. "It's more than ok Eddie" he smiled at your words. After he tucked you into his bed he gave you some medicine and a kiss and then he left to go run some errands.
    What you didn't now is that after picking up some food, he made a stop at Jason's house. . . .
   
Eddie's pov
   
    My hands gripped the steering wheel of my van, I was furious at jason for treating my girl like that. I made a quick stop at the store to pick up some snacks, I made sure to get all of y/ns favorites and a cherry sushi for both of us.
    But then I was zooming down the road to Jason's place. Once I got there I saw more than one car there. As I knocked on the door I could hear multiple voices stop as if they were having a deep conversation.
    When the door finally opened it revealed the entire basketball team was sitting around on Jason's couch. We were yelling a lot. And then everything else was a blurry.
    When I left they were all on the floor, they were hurt but not too bad. I don't remember what happened but I was ok, more than ok actually. I was fulfilled that I made them hurt just like they  made y/n hurt.
    I looked down at my hands as i was driving , they were covered in blood. I looked in the mirror and my face was a little bruised and i had a cut lip, but nothing near as bad as a left them.
  
    Y/n pov
    I heard Eddie come in with the grocery bags. The pain medicine was kicking in and i felt good enough to stand, "what took you so long Ed's?" You asked whike you walked out the door.
    Your eyes immediatley went to Eddie and his bruised face and bloody knuckles and rings. "What happened?" You asked rushing to him to make sure he was ok.
    "Im alright darling i just went and handled some buisness, jason and his friends wont mess with you from now on" he said." Thank you Eddie, now lets go get you cleaned up" you said dragging him to ths bathroom. "Oh and bring our slushies" you said in an excited tone.
    "Alright doll" Eddie replied with a smile. He sat on the countrr as you bagan to clean his hands and rings. "This might hurt" you said as ylu brought an alcohol pad towards Eddie cut lip. He winced but soon relaxrd as you brought tour hand up to his face. Leaning into tour hand he smiled and you kissed him.
    "Lets get some snacks and watch a movie sweetheart" he left the bathroom carrying you to the bathroom. He brought all the snacks in and turned on the breakfast blub your favorite movie." I love you Eddie" you said quickly, that was the first tims you said you loved him. He huged you and whispered "i love you more" in your ear.
    You drifted off to sleep on Eddies shoulder and hs carried you to bed. After craqling in with you he said "I will never let someone hurt you again, I love you". You smiled causing him to giggle " i thought you were asleep". "I was, but i love you too Eddie thank you for protecting me today" you smiled back at him. " anything for you love".
