The monster and the freak (Eddie Munson x oc)

Chapter one: Almost spring break

Okay so I'm doing it based on season 4 but at the same time doing my own thing so the campaign will be the day before Chrissy dies not the day of, so bare with me :) this is sort of a introducing Moon more

Moon Caralot, I would say she was your average girl but she just wishes she could be that, she was like El. She had powers as well but she hated them. She considered herself a monster, a freak and experiment, as did some others. It was one days till spring break, today is the championship game and she knew Mike and Dustin had their D&D club, Hellfire, meeting. She's never been to one but she's heard of the people there. She never went because she's not a social type of person, she stuck to herself more then ever.

I suppose some backstory would be helpful in this situation. Moon was raised at Hawkins lab, known simply as Three. She was one of the more obedient subjects, that easily made her one of Papa's favorites. One day a younger staff members , Peter Ballard , helped her escape about ten months before El did. For eight of those months Moon lived alone, hiding in the woods learning to hunt and survive on her own. Mike was the one who found her, she made a mistake and ate the wrong type of berry. She was on the verge of dying but Mike managed to get her on his bike, though half unconscious as she was, and got her home to where Karen Wheeler was able to call the ambulance and help her. Since then the Wheelers have all grown fond of the strange, quiet girl, everyone was told she was a distant cousin.

The years she spent in Hawkins definitely weren't boring with the threat of monsters appearing every year. But throughout the years she's done fine until her best friend died in the Starcourt Mall "fire". The lose of Billy Hargrove hit her hard, making her see how dangerous it was to be close and love anyone, so she distanced herself from everyone. Her other best friend/ex Steve Harrington tried multiple times to reach out to her but she was closed off.

Anyway Moon was getting ready for the start of a new day..that would turn out to be like all the rest or at least that's what she thought. She put on a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, combat boots. She put on her AC/DC shirt and since it was low cut she put on Make up to hide her scar. She finished with her dark makeup, grabbing Billy's necklace off of her nightstand before walking out of her room.

Karen Wheeler was working on getting everything together for Holly. Mike and Nancy had already left but that was usual for them. "When will you let Nancy drive you to school Moon?" The older woman asked her caringly. She turned her brown eyes to her mother figure. "I enjoy taking my skateboard plus I don't have to be there any earlier then necessary since Nancy has stuff to do." She said with a lopsided grin as she walked towards the door. "At least we have one somewhat level headed kid." Ted mumbled but Moon pretend she didn't hear. She didn't get along well with Ted...but he considered her one of their kids, it warmed her heart but she still had problems with him, especially hearing him call the Hellfire Club the High school drop out club. She didn't like things being assumed of people like that, just because they enjoy a fantasy game doesn't mean they are lesser then you.

Moon placed her earphones on and turned on her music, playing her favorite song which was War pigs by Black Sabbath. Will and Johnathan had made her a mix tape before they left for California, she was honestly shocked the boys knew what music she liked besides David Bowie which was a given as her friends did tent to call her Ziggy or Stardust.

Soon enough, but soon then she hoped she arrived at school, sliding the headphones off to hang around her neck. "Great, another day in hell," She muttered. School wasn't bad in her opinion if it was a bit slower paced, she's doing her best to understand what is going on but soem subjects are hard for her. She heard a small chuckle from behind her at her comment. A boy with fluffy brown hair and a red, sleeveless flannel was behind her. She recognized him but didn't know his name, but when he saw her hard set brown eyes on him, his laughter stopped and he continued his way inside. Normally people ignored her, even the lowly. She did sit with Robin at the band table on occasion for lunch though,

Today will be a interesting day...
