it was a normal day in ranpoe apartment. poe was sitting on his writing table while ranpo was taking a shower

the taller male stood up and went to the kitchen planning on making chocolate milkshake for his boyfriend

he was taking the milky chocolate out of the shelf when he heard a knock on the door. surprised, poe opened the door

it was no one other than Yosano

"hi" she waved

"oh, good afternoon yosano-san" poe greeted her "come in"

they entered the living room and yosano sat comfortably on the big couch

"is ranpo not home?"

"he's actually taking a shower right now"

"without you?" akiko looked at poe, wanting to see his reaction

"wha-" poe's face flushed red, he looked uncomfortable "we don't-"

"i was just messing with you" the doctor paused "but...it's a good thing ranpo is busy, i needed to talk to you"

"to me?"

"yes, to you." yosano went closer to him, poe stepped back

the female's face expression turned into a serious one and she stared deeply into the male's eyes giving death glare

she pointed her finger on poe's chest and said with a serious tone

"hurt ranpo and i won't leave a bone in your body that isn't broken"

poe looked scared, terrified even, but when he proceeded what yosano said, he made an eye contact and told her:

"i could never hurt ranpo. i love him so much that I'd even sacrifice my everything, including my body, soul and life"

yosano smiled and nodded:

"yes, i know, in movies and shit best friends do these kind of talks" she paused "but we know each-other well, right edgar?"

"yes"

"treat him well"

"of course" poe replied, making his way to the kitchen shelves "what kind of green tea do you prefer? we have jasmine and mango-flavored "

"jasmine, I guess"

"i thought you were going to take a shower, love" poe told his boyfriend as the smaller male left the bathroom

"bath is way more fun and also shower is loud, i wouldn't be able to hear what you two were talking"

"wha- you were listening? yosano-san got a call from hospital, she's going to come back in the evening"

"i did hear that. i also heard what you said about me..." shorter male smiled

ranpo then hugged the taller male tightly, mumbling quietly:

"thank you edgar"

"i'm really glad to have you in my life" poe then pulled off from the hug "your hair is wet, let's dry it"
