It took a whole day before the mist cleared. Jake grumbled for a while until Mochi threatened to push him off the shelf. They ate some food before going to sleep.
Jeremy couldn't sleep. Despite how tired he felt he just couldn't fall asleep. He wanted to toss and turn around, but unfortunately couldn't do so without waking Jake up. It wasn't helping that Jake was snoring very loudly. He eventually gave up and decided to get off the bed to walk it off. With some difficulty, he got out of the bed without waking Jake up. Just as he got off, he spotted Ori sitting on the pallet that connected the shelves.
"Couldn't sleep?" he asked as he sat down next to her.
"Yeah, with Jake snoring like Shrek I don't think I'll ever be able to." she replied.
"You know, I don't think the other too realise how scary this fog is." Jeremy said as he peered to check on the "zombies". They looked up at him despite not having any eyes.
"Mhm. If the fog isn't gone by tomorrow we'll be stranded here for who knows how long. Our food is going to run out soon."
Jeremy looked grimly at the starless sky. It looked like a jet-black canvas.
"Well, we're gonna have to pray for better days." He said.
"I know that there will be better day, just not sure when their coming." Ori said. "Anyways we should go to sleep now. We need energy for tomorrow."
Jeremy nodded.
"I just hope there's a tomorrow."
