Chapter 14

"AAaARgH, MORNING BITCHES!" Mochi yawned as she stretched her hands skywards. Jake flinched.

"Mochi do you really have to cuss when you awaken?" he asked, grimacing. Mochi grinned. 

"What you want me to say? YOUR MOMSICLES??" she replied.

Jake rolled his eyes. Ori tried but was failing to stifle her laughter.

"Anyways, where's Jer?" Mochi asked. "And w-what time is it?"

"Jer went for a walk along the shelf. His ADHD's acting up, at least that's what he told us. And it's 8:23-, Nope it changed to 24." Ori replied, passing a plate of meatballs to Mochi.

"oOo MEATBALLS!" Mochi exclaimed, eating the meatballs like she hadn't eaten in days. "Also, I slept for that long? That has to be a record or something."

"Yah you sleep and sound like a hog." Jake commented. Mochi slapped Jake's arm in response while Jake laughed. Just then Jeremy came back.

"Morning Mochi, did you sleep well?" he asked as he down. Mochi gave a "mhm" as reply before digging back into her meatballs. 

"How was your walk?" Ori enquired. "Did your ADHD stop acting up?"

"Urh yeah it was fine, my ADHD is fine, everything is fine." 

"I see. Anyways I'm going to sleep."

"Woi don't leave me alone leh, I slept for so long. Now I cannot go back to sleep." Mochi whined. 

"I'll stay up with you, after taking a nap I don't feel like sleeping again so soon." Jake said.

"Ok then night you two."

"You too jer, sleep well Ori."

"zzz"

"Now who's the hog now huh Jake?"

"RISE AND SHINE JER JER! Finally it's my turn to wake you up at an ungodly hour!"

"Morning Mochi." Jeremy deadpanned. He rubbed his eyes as he got up and yawn. He turned to see Jake waking Ori up.

"Or, Ori, ORRRRRRR!"

In one fluent movement, Ori swung her hand and hit Jake.

"OW WHAT WAS THAT FOR?"

"OMG SORRY JAKE! I THOUGHT YOU WERE A ZOMBIE OR SOMETHING!"

"WHAT ZOMBIE CALLS YOU 'OR'?"

"I DON'T KNOW, I JUST PANICKED!"

"Are you guys done talking? We need to get a move o-on." jeremy said sleepily as he took his bag onto his shoulders. Everyone else followed suit, and they began once more on their journey along the wall. After walking for a while, Jeremy spotted something in the distance.

"Guys, I think I see the end of the wall!" 

All four of them started running forward, and were met with two huge walls meeting together perpendicularly. 

"AHH FINALLYYY!" Mochi cried, hugging the new found wall. "THIS MIGHT BE A SIGN THAT WE'RE GETTING CLOSE!"

Ori and Mochi squealed at the prospect, while Jeremy and Jake stared at the wall in profound wonder.

"I think this calls for a break!" Jake declared, sitting hard onto the floor. "The running has me TIRED."

"That was such a short run, and your tired already?" Ori asked, surprised.

"Bro I know my stamina sucks but yours is the worse." Jeremy said. 

"Whatever guys, let's just take a break! Gotta give ourselves a pat on the back for making it so far!" Mochi exclaimed, pulling out bags of Doritoes. "Can't go wrong with chips right?"

"I'll pass, Doritoes ain't really my thing." Jeremy said. 

"Are you insane? WHO DOESN'T LIKE DORITOES?" Ori said in disbelief.

"Sorry I just ain't into it."

"Well less wants means more to share!" Jake said, opening the bag. As they ate Mochi noticed Jeremy drawing something in his notebook. When she asked about it, Jeremy passed her the notebook. It showed a huge square, with arrows, dots, tiny shaded squares, an X that cover one line from the square.

"It's a diagram of the place." Jeremy said. "The square is the whole place, the X represents how that wall doesn't have the exit because we travelled along it. The smaller squares are the shelves we stayed in. Unfortunately I didn't draw the first shelf we stayed in because I forgot where it was or the direction it may have been from the second shelf."

Now Ori and Jake were listening in onto their conversations. Jeremy continued on.

"The dots are where we saw other monsters like the freddies." Jeremy said. "And the arrows are the direction we've been walking around in."

"Woah smart." Jake commented. Jeremy chuckled. 

"yeah I know that's why I did it. Anyways let's continue onwards shall we?"

They packed up their stuff, and walked until darkness came and they had to hide in a metal shelf for the night.

"Night guys."

"Night."
