The cries of joys filled the walls of the North. The shields of the spirits were up strong, unbreakable if the shield owners were not willing to let go of it. Which was why finding the Northern spirit owner was a vital task. But Dara too emerged with her family, the love showered atop her head and till her toe -she didn't want to un-live the moment. She didn't care what was coming upon her. Now that the doors to East, all the ties were sealed off and the realm itself behind the bars of strong spirits, Dara had less to worry about.
She was bathed with Northern lavender water, cleaned and wounds ready to be healed. Dara entered her chamber, fragrant with white roses hanging from the upside jars on her wall, the vases of white roses at the corners and her dresser, the side of the royal bed and anywhere her eyes would look. A shy smile plastered her lips when witnessing Jungkook facing the wide windows of her chamber. Jungkook turned to see Dara being welcomed by the medics to the left corner of the chamber for her wounds to be healed. She stumbled on the injured leg inside the chamber but refused to be attended by the medics. Jungkook waited for an answer to her pause.
Dara closed her eyes. And Jungkook wasn't even surprised when he saw golden light shimmer down her injured leg, kissing her injuries goodbye, the blood disappearing-as if soaked by her skin. The cuts on her jaws and lip were aided at once. Jungkook's lips tugged into a smirk, "Learning how to heal our own wounds, are we?"
Dara smiled at Jungkook while lifting her hand up to signal the medics and maids to leave the chamber at once. Jungkook returned the sly grin at his wife before walking to her, grabbing her waist without waiting for the maids and medics to leave. Dara looked up at the taller individual's eyes, her lips gaping as she felt the unusual skip to her heart-the trauma of realizing it was love all along was taking her back and off guard. Dara looked at the hair covering Jungkook's eyes, sweaty and uneven like they usually are and when she touched them to brush them back and away from his eyes, tugging his hair, she realized they were longer than the first time they met. And this was her noticing the littlest things about Jungkook. Even the white roses.
"You like the silence." Jungkook whispered, but he had so much to tell Dara, "But I have a bit too much to tell you. I hope you missed me, the entire week, as much as I missed you, Dara."
Dara stared at Jungkook.
"I missed watching your steps, looking at your eyes. I missed you even though you were right beside my chamber," Jungkook's throat closed up, suddenly unable to breathe evenly, "And I was scared because I was missing you when they said they couldn't find you. I hope I was missed too even though God knows what you were fighting-,"
"I missed you." Dara broke the silence before Jungkook, "I missed you at the Bounds. When the Bound Monsters were not letting me put the shields up. And when I was giving up, and thought of sacrificing myself to the Bounds, to destroy the compass and myself," Dara was in tears again, "I wanted to come back. I wanted to be home."
