A woman seeking adventure and power goes through many trials and tribulations in order to gain her power with the help of her friend will she make it to the top?
Many say fate is written out for each person but there are those that go against their fate and choose their own path. This is the path that I chose for myself.
It was dark in the city of Shadows; the wretched creatures that roam in this domain have a job to protect the location of many magical artifacts scattered around the world. The city's sky is red making the building dark and balck giving it its name the city of darkness. They say this place can’t be penetrated but that is about to change.
Within the shadows of the city there was a figure that would fly for a second from building to building finding its way to the treasure vault where they have many scrolls marked with the locations of many sacred artifacts.

For many years no one has dared to even try to break in the last time it happened the crook was killed. Since then the security has increased, there are more guards, and they even decided to use a special type of security magic which is forbidden in the city of darkness.
The figure had now made it to the base of the tower. The figure reached for their hood revealing they were a woman with bright red hair like the fire and her eyes as piercing blue as the ocean. Now this woman was on a special mission.
“Novera…are you sure about this if you get caught you’ll get killed.” a guy said softly to her.
She turned to look at him. “Oh please no one can catch me.” she said as she lifted her mask which covered her mouth and nose leaving her blue eyes visible.
“Now I’m going to sneak in if any guards come to take care of them but make sure you don’t get caught.” She said,
“Yes ma'am” he teased as he watched her climb up the tower.
She used her two picks as she climbed the wall stopping every few times to maintain her balance and grip.

The picks helped her to launch onto the rough wall. She climbed up to the only access point in the tower which was at the top. The only way of getting in was a small hatch leading down into the tower which was like you’d expect a tower to be empty. The only thing in the tower was a pedestal that held a balck chest.
