The number is still carved into her brain.
She looked at all her friends sitting around the campfire before quickly leaving without even a goodbye. It was almost two am.
Soon she was home and laying in her bed. She typed the number in her phone, but quickly deleted it.
She threw her phone across the room before turning on her side and closing her eyes, telling herself the bedtime story she perfectly memorized.
She fell asleep dreaming about the one thing she wishes she could have back.
