She was staring at her phone in anticipation, praying he didn't forget like he did two days ago. As soon as the phone started ringing at 2:30, she picked it up.
"I was worried you forgot." She frowned as she looked at her lap.
"Sorry love. I'd never forget." He smiled. It sounded like he was jumping on a trampoline.
He sounded way happier than the night before. "What do you want tonight?" He asked.
She thought about it for a minute, biting her lip. "Cinderella."
He kept jumping on that trampoline as he told her the story of a beautiful girl falling in love with a prince.
She fell asleep, happy.
