TUBBO'S POV:

My eyes fluttered open and adjusted to the dark room..

I hadn't noticed that I fell asleep.

I looked down at Ranboo who was asleep next to me in the medical bed..

He looked so peaceful as he slept. It was cute.

We must have lost track of time and fallen asleep..
I can tell it's about three in the morning or so.

"Tubbs..?? You're still here?"
I heard a soft quiet voice speak.

I look down at Ranboo and smile,
"Of course I am. How are you feeling?"
I asked.

He sighed softly,
"A bit better. I was just stressed.. I'm doing better now."
He told me..

I decided to hold his hand again.
I smiled warmly at him as I interlocked our hands.

I honestly wondered if he'd recalled me kissing his forehead when he was falling asleep..
If he did, he seemed to not be affected by it.

I know that when I kissed his forehead I felt a warm and tingly sensation fill me.. It was a nice feeling. And I knew I wanted to do it again. But no way I can.

Suddenly Ranboo groaned,
"Shoot.. My family is probably worried sick about me. I'm always home by nightfall."
He said worriedly.

I gave him a reassuring look and gently ran my thumb across his hand that I was grasping onto.

"Don't stress about it. I'm sure you can explain the situation to them and they will understand.."
I explained.

He sighed heavily.
"Maybe I can introduce you to them..?? I mean, they already know who you are but maybe I can bring you into the palace. I'm sure they'll all love you."
He told me with a small grin..

I felt my heart pound..
"Me..?? In the royal palace..?? R-Ranboo, I'm not proper enough for that—"
I began to say nervously but he cut me off.

"Nonsense. You don't need to be proper.. I think you're amazing the way you are. They'll love you no matter how you look or act, I know they will. And if I'm some strange universe they don't, they will here it from me. Because I won't let them neglect you for no reason."
He said sincerely.

I was honestly shocked.. but flattered.

"I mean.. I-If you honestly insist and think it would be okay then I-I suppose I'll be glad to.."
I told him nervously.

He gave me a smile,
"I know they are gonna adore you... My Knight In Shining Armor~"
He teased.

I chuckled,
"Heeyyy!! That's suppose to be my nickname for you!"
I whined jokingly.

He snickered,
"Well technically you're my hero now too.. So get ready to share that nickname."
He said with a smirk.

We both shared a laugh together..

The rest of the time that we couldn't sleep we chatted aimlessly about random things until sunrise came.

RANBOO'S POV:

When the sun was up and the day had begun, I thanked the doctors for their services, and we headed out.

Tubbo was very clearly nervous about the idea of coming into the palace, but I kept assuring him that it'd be okay.

After all, he did break into my bedroom the other night. So clearly he cannot be that scared.

As we reached the gates, the guards looked skeptically at Tubbo, but of course they eased up after I ordered them to let us through, and they did.
