RANBOO'S POV:

The daylight was coming to an end, and me and Tubbo decided to go out onto the balcony to watch the sunset together.

We walked out and we both walked to the railing, watching the sky turn into a swirl of orange and pink colors..

I looked over at Tubbo who was gazing out at the setting sun.. The colors illuminating his features.

"..I'm still so shocked by it all. A few days ago I was nothing but a kid on the streets."
He mumbled softly.

I smiled down at him and then turned my gaze to the sky as well.

"Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way."
I said honestly.

He turned to me,
"D-Don't get me wrong, I love it! I am so grateful for every little bit of it... It's just crazy how much something can change in such a short time, is all."
He assured me.

I giggled very softly at his frantic explaining before taking his hands gently and smiling sweetly.

"I know.. It is a crazy thing to think about. But I'm so glad you're here in this position now. And I'm so grateful that you're here with me.."
I said sincerely as I looked down at him lovingly.

He gave me an adorable grin and his cheeks were tinted pink,
"Well gee, Boo.. It's almost like you have a crush on me or something."
He teased, nudging me.

I chuckled and rolled my eyes,
"Gosh, I wonder why that could be??"
I teased back at him.

He laughed at my joking reply...

I gazed down at him as he stared into the setting sun..

All I could think about was how much I loved him. Visions of what our future could be flashed before my eyes..

Eventually I gently took his hand in mine and brought it up, kissing it softly.

"..The more I look at you, the more I thank the universe for gifting me such an impeccable being to love."
I said in a softer quieter voice. But one that was also more genuine.

He blushed and giggled, shifting himself closer to me.
"And the more I look at you, the more I wonder what I did to deserve such an amazing, handsome guy that I can call my boyfriend."
He replied in a soft voice as well.

I felt my cheeks heat up and I chuckled, wrapping an arm around him.

"I'm not sure.. But whatever it was, I'm so glad you did it. I don't know what I'd do without you."
I replied, leaning my head on top of his.

He hummed happily in response before we both continued to gaze at the now almost fully set sun.

We stayed in comfortable silence as the sky became dark and filled with stars and the crickets began to chirp.

The stars reminded me of the night before, when we confessed our love to one another.
I smiled at the thought.
I felt so safe in that moment.

It felt like home.

Eventually Tubbo stepped back a bit, with a sudden excited grin on his face.

"Hey..! You still owe me a waltz, if I recall."
He commented, smirking.

I tilted my head and chuckled,
"And why is that?"
I asked.
