TUBBO'S POV:

Yesterday night was hard.
But Ranboo... He helped me.

I think that's when I made a conclusion in my mind..

I concluded that Ranboo was the person I've been waiting for all of my life.
He's my missing piece.

I just wish he felt the same.

But we aren't meant to be...

Because he's a prince.

And I'm a peasant.

And he's my best friend.

I woke up, in his arms.

I was laying on his rising and falling chest, feeling his steady heart beat..

The sunlight was shining in through his velvet curtains, lighting up the room in a dim but beautiful way.

I very carefully crawled out of his grasp.. Trying not to wake him.
But I failed at that, seeming that his gorgeous red and green eyes fluttered open in that moment, gazing right at me.

"S-Sorry.. I didn't mean to wake you."
I whispered softly.

He smiled kindly up at me..
"Don't worry about it.. I probably need to wake up anyway."
He told me, looking at me with his kind, charming, and hypnotizing smile.

He sat up along with me and he continued to gaze at me with his loving grin.
"..Are you feeling A bit better..??"
He asked in a soft but gravely tone.. His morning voice was adorable.

I smiled a little bit and looked down at my lap for a moment before nodding.

"Good.. I'm glad I could help at least a little bit."
He said quietly.

We both sat in a comfortable silence for a minute or two before we both got up.

We both got around for the day, me getting changed in his closet and stuff.

When I was already dressed and ready, he was adjusting his crown on his head... and he was struggling just a little bit.

I laughed at the sight and he turned, rolling his eyes and blushing out of embarrassment.

I walked over to him, motioned for him to lean down to my level, then I fitted his crown on his head for him.

After I did that.. We sort of had a strange moment of gazing at each other longingly for a moment of time.. not realizing how close to each other's faces we were.

But when I realized what was happening I felt my heart skip a beat and I snapped out of it, quickly walking away..
I secretly scolded myself in my head for ending the moment like that.. I secretly wanted that moment to last forever.
But of course, I couldn't.

Once we were both around, we walked out together and he lead me to the dining hall where they always had breakfast.

Being in the presence of the entire royal family was very intimidating for me.. But I put on a brave face.

When we arrived, the family greeted us happily.

"Good morning, you two. We made sure to add another seat next to Ranboo for you, Tubbo."
King Philza said with a grin.
