(ANOTHER SIDE CHAPTER!! I'm trying to figure out this plot so for now you can have this chapter.)

RANBOO'S POV:

It was late in the night by the time we arrived back at the palace from visiting Las Nevadas,
So me and Tubbo went straight to bed..

The poor thing was so tired after the eventful day, he was out like a light as soon as he laid in my arms..

He always looks so peaceful when he sleeps..

The next morning,
We both woke up and quickly made our way down to the dining hall for breakfast.

We sat down at the table and the king and queen were going on about something..

"Good morning, you two! You're just in time.. We were talking about the event that's going to happen today."
Mumza said, smiling.

"Before you get your hopes up, it's just another ball."
Technoblade piped in before going back to calmly eating his breakfast.

I snickered at his blunt comment.

"Oh come on now, Techno.. It's not that bad."
Philza said.

"But it is true.. We are hosting another ball. Don't tell him this.. But we're hoping to find a suitor for Tommy."
Philza said, whispering the last part.

"Don't tell me what now??"
A familiar British voice suddenly said.

We all turned and the blonde was stood right there in the doorway with a hand on his hip, and a raised eyebrow.

"U-Uhm.. Goodness Tom, you're a little late..!"
Mumza chirped, trying to not seem suspicious.

Tommy narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms.

"Yeah, I'm always late, you guys know that.. Now come on. I wasn't born yesterday. What is it that you're not supposed to tell me??"
He asked, a little more seriousness in his tone.

"J-Just that the kitchen made your favorite for breakfast!! Waffles! Surprise!"
Tubbo piped up quickly, smiling innocently.

Tommy tilted his head, skeptical for a moment..

But he shrugged and sat down.

"Alright.. But I don't know why you were being so secretive about that."
He said, digging into his food.

The king and queen looked at Tubbo with a look of relief, sort of as a thank you for making up an excuse.

The all finished eating our breakfast and the preparations for the ball commenced.

Honestly, I was all for helping Tommy find someone.
Tom is a very outspoken person, so he's told us before that he does have interest in finding someone.. he just wants to make sure it's somebody he genuinely likes for sure.
And we all know if he ever had any doubt in his mind about it, he'd tell someone. So we weren't worried that he'd have some issue regarding finding a suitor...
The only issue we suspected he might have was that we set the whole thing up for him.

While he joked about wanting all the women to flock towards him.. We all know he didn't mean it in a literal sense.

I've had plenty of private chats with him throughout the years of growing up together and even though he has his annoying, bold, egotistical moments.. He's actually just a genuine, nice, caring guy.

We all just want the best for him.

So that's why I'm pitching in to help where I can.
And of course Tubbo is too.
Tubbo's grown closer to Tommy during the time he's been here and met him, so he wants to help with the process too.
