Lila and I did everything together. She and I were inseparable. It was truly awesome to have a friend again. I continued my book by myself and it was coming along nicely. I had Lila read it. She was pretty impressed by it. She had stories of her own that I got to read. I had to say that I was speachless. She and I began to create a story of our friendship.
It started with two girls that met each other because their friends ditched them to be popular. I was shocked when she put that because that would mean that our ex-friends are now best friends. It was a big coincidence. We also wrote that we did everything together after we became friends. We had gotten so much done in the twenty minutes that we had. Maybe we were destined to become friends after all.
Life was always bland when I didn't see Lila. I never talked to anyone else in my class or school. I have met some of Lila's book club friends and I am now friends with them. One day, we all sat at a table during lunch. Everything was fine until the popular girls showed up. They stood around our table looking at us expectantly. We didn't see them til they began to frown. Their "Leader" told us to go find another table. We told them that there are more tables than this one. We began arguing, it was pretty much popular girls versus fangirls. One of the lunch monitors asked about what was going on. The Popular Girls pretended to be innocent, it made me want to be sick.
The monitor told them to go find another table. When they left we started to laugh like crazy. Here we were laughing at something that had so little importance to our lives. We were a very easily amused group of fangirls. The day was over and we were all making jokes and smiling. I haven't felt this happy in years. I finally found people that I fit in with.
