Exchanging Vows

"WILL You Marry Me?" he asked me while looking into my eyes. On bended knee with surprises and efforts.

"Yes yes! Of course!" I exclaimed while tearing up a bit.

We prepared for our wedding. Inayos namin ng magkasama, simula sa wedding date, venue, pagkain, wedding gown, cake, motif at iba pa. Hanggang sa dumating na ang pinaka hihintay na araw. He requested that he want me to sing for the wedding, so I did.

"Heart beats fast
Colors and Promises
How to be brave?" I started as the double doors of the church opened.

"How can I love when I'm afraid to fall
But Watching you stand alone" I slowly continued even if my voice broke.

"All of my doubt, suddenly goes away some how." I started crying silently while singing my heart out.

I remember, in the middle of the preparation, a bad news came.

"L-louisse, I'm sorry. I'm really really sorry." he sobbed while kneeling infront of me. I stared at him as my tears starts to fall down.

"P-paano? Masaya naman tayo 'di ba? I-ikakasal na nga t-tayo oh.. Bakit mo n-nagawa 'to?" hagulhol ko habang nakatakip ang aking mga kamay sa aking mga mukha.

Nagtatawanan kami habang pababa sa sasakyan. Katatapos lang ng meeting namin sa wedding organizer. Tumatawa pa rin kami sa mga kalokohan niya. Damon has the sense of humor I wanted from a guy. I love him dearly. Pag pasok namin sa bahay nila ay nand'on lahat ng pamilya niya, hanggang sa mapako ang tingin ko sa bestfriend kong nakaupo sa sofa nila.

"Janice? Anong ginagawa mo rito?" tanong ko.

Tumayo siya at sabay sabing "Damon, buntis ako." tumutulo ang luha sa kaniyang mga mata habang sinasabi ito.

Ako dapat ang naglalakad papunta sayo ngayon. Ako dapat ang kasama mong bumuo ng pamilya. Nangako ka sa'kin hindi ba? Ang sabi mo bibigyan mo ako ng malaki at masayang pamilya ngunit mahal, bakit sa isang iglap iba na iyong nasa harap, iba na ang babaeng ihaharap mo sa altar.

"Louisse, gusto kita. gustong gusto."

"Louisse, hindi mo kailangang magselos sa kahit na kanino. Hindi ako mawawala sa'yo,nandito lang ako. Palagi."

"Isa lang ang kahahantungan nating dalawa, Louisse. Ang pagiging mag asawa."

"I'm sorry, Louisse. I- i really am."

"I'm happy for you. Be happy, that's what matters the most to me." I whispered as I hugged him.

"CONGRATULATIONS!!" I shouted as my tears fall down.

"I, Louisse Guerrera, take you Damon Salvatore, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part." I whispered to myself as Janice muttered the same words.
