"Into the water you go, Eddie!"

There's a loud splash as Newt Scamander dives into the deep tank with glass sides, and he makes his way to the big buck puppet with reins that, with the help of the green screens and the cameras, will appear to the viewers as the Kelpie.

"Start the machine and roll the cameras!"

The mechanical arm starts its journey around the tank with Newt clinging tightly onto it. It circles itself a few times before changing its course. In the small box, it does go back on itself a few times however, again with the magic of technology, we'll be able to make it seem like a much larger area.

Eddie does his best to keep up his character whilst he's in the water, and it looks pretty good from where I'm standing.

"Hey," Jamie appears next to me, one cardboard cup in each hand, "thought you might want one of these. It's cappuccino or...... Cappuccino?"

"Damn, tough choice," I laugh as I take the one out of his left hand.

"No fair, I wanted that one."

I roll my eyes.

It doesn't matter if we talk, we're not picking up sound for this scene as there will be music and pre-recorded sounds.

"It's going well, yeah?" I ask as I continue to watch Eddie.

"Well, he looks like he's being zoomed around a tank of water on a metal arm so..... Yeah?"

"We're gonna green screen it. Obviously."

"Obviously."

"But it's going well?"

"I don't know. You tell me." He takes a sip of his coffee.

I run my hand through my hair. "I guess it's going okay? We're on track for filming, tomorrow's the last day so we're going to check all the footage and make sure it's all perfect. Hopefully we won't have to reshoot any of the scenes. Then we can get any paperwork done and start packing up the set, get ready for the party."

"In 2 days time."

"In 2 days time," I nod. "Jesus Christ."

"Looking forward to it?"

"I already told you, I'm not going."

"Didn't you get the invite?"

"Well yeah but-"

There's a small tap on my shoulder.

"Y/n?" Mel holds my phone out in her hand. "Call for you. He says it's an emergency."

I sigh. "It's Ollie, right?"

She nods. "I think he's worried about you."

To be fair, I have slept in the studio for the last two nights just to make sure everything's perfect.

"Alright, one second."

I put my coffee down on the table and turn to Jamie. "Would you give me a minute? Don't go far, I won't be long."

"Sure, I'll just be over there," he gestures over to the costume area.

"Thanks." I turn my attention to the film set. "Cut!"

Eddie breaks the surface of the water with a smile and takes a deep breath before giving me a thumbs up.

I take the phone from Mel with a smile and send her on her way.

"Ollie, we talked about this. You need to stop saying it's an emergency."

"I know, and I'm sorry, but it kind of is an emergency. You haven't been answering my texts, you haven't been coming home, and I'm not being allowed into the studio. I was worried about you, and I needed to know you were safe."
