Savannah told the counselor 'he was James best friend he is Harry's godfather he wouldn't do this he's not a bad person he's a wonderful man you have to listen to me you cannot send him to Azkaban! He was with me!' Savanna pleaded

'I am sorry Savanna Snape but the evidence is overwhelming. Sirius black is a menace to society he needs to be punished.'

'No.' Savanna screamed, 'he was with me. he was with me when they were attacked. He didn't do this! He couldn't have!'

'Miss Snape please calm down.'

'Youre not listening to me!' she shouted tears falling down her face.

'Sirius Black is-'

'INNOCENT!' she shouted.

'I'm sorry but the evidence-'

'What fucking evidence!' savanna shouted outraged. 'no you can't please you don't understand you got it all wrong he would never please you have to listen to me you can't do this to him, you can't ruin his life like this he doesn't deserve this! He didn't do anything wrong he is innocent!' she begged.

'Enough! I hear by sentence Sirius Black to live out the rest of his days as a prisoner in Azkaban.'

'NO!!!' Savanna cried she didnt even get to say goodbye. She cried out for him as they dragged him away. He screamed out for her as he was aparated away. She collapsed to her knees sobbing.

'I want him!' Savanna demanded

'No.'

'Yes!'

'Miss snape. Your fiance was charged with killing-'

'He didnt do it and you know it!' Savanna spat

'Your brother is a known death eater-'

'He was confused and lost but he never meant to hurt anyone. I know it!' savanna screamed but no one was listening to her.

'Harry will go to family.'

'I am family.' she barked. 'Im his god mother. Im the only one he has left.'

'Not true. Harry has an aunt by blood of his mother.'

'A muggle who hates magic and envied and despised her sister.' savanna corrected

'He will be safer in the muggle world-'

'He will be safest with me.' Savanna snapped

'No. Im sorry the decision has been made.' Albus informed her.

'No no...' savanna lunged at hagrid when he grabbed harry from his crib. 'Lily and james would have wanted me to have him. To take care of him. Love him. Protect him.' Savanna begged. But albus wouldnt hear it. Harry was delivered to the Vernen's and it was 11 years before she saw him again. She didnt tell him who she was. She couldnt.

Savanna didnt want to hate that sunset. But sunburns fade, seasons change, and she still missed the way he said her name.

She had never been lost like that. she should be better at moving on and getting her shit together... But savanna felt all alone. She was up all night, missing Sirius missing who they used to be. Trying to stay high and chase it with a memory, she used to be so good at make believe, planning for the future thinking of the life they would have but she was stuck in the past now. she knew it wasn't good for her, not moving on. But she couldnt stop missing him missing the old her.

But she tried. Severus took a position at Hogwarts at the potions master and savanna took up the healer position, her own medical wing. She worked and working trying to find normal again. But her heart was never the same.
