The pet you got together
Josh- rat. Josh loved the idea of getting a pet with you but he wanted something exotic. You wanted something that wasn't exotic and easy to take care of. You both compromised on a rat because it is an unusual pet but not as unusual some things and they are decently easy to take care of. You named it Denver obviously after Josh's hero John Denver and you took care of it while he was on tour.
Jake-Dog. Jake is definitely a dog lover and so are you. When you got back from tour and settled into his house the first thing he did was take you to the shelter to pick out a puppy. You picked out the sweetest looking pit-bull mix and named him jack. Jake thought this was the perfect name because it was named after Jack Sparrow and Jack Daniels whiskey. He also sometimes joked about how it was close to his name.
Sam- Cat. Sam already had his dog but he also wanted to get another pet that could just stay at the house. You went to the local humane society and picked a kitten. You named her Joni because of Sam's obsession with Joni Mitchell. He loved the new kitten and he always made sure she had a spot by his feet in bed at night.
Danny -Fish. You and Danny didn't really like the idea of having a larger animal to take care of but you knew you wanted a pet together. You started off by buying one fish but then it turned into a whole aquarium and whenever Danny went on tour he brought back some sort of new fish for the now giant tank that took up almost half of a room.
