001: Stuck with You (Taennie)

kim taehyung and jennie kim, two of the most competitive students in the campus, gets paired in a project, where they will babysit and write about what they think of each other during the project.

"hurry up, before those two arrive!" sana exclaimed when mina was taking so long in putting her junk inside her locker.

"asshole!" a female's voice echoed through the hallway. everyone knew that it was already starting, it was a daily routine for the two smartest students to be bickering this early in the morning.

there, taehyung walked confidently, while jennie struggle to untie her shoelaces. "i'll get you for this, taehyung!" jennie snarled.

her blood boiled even more when taehyung just stuck his tongue out and walked to class.

"here," jennie looked up, only to see jimin, offering his hand, "let me help you get up."

jennie awkwardly laughed and took his hand. she was finally back on her feet and dusted some dust off her skirt. "thanks, jimin." she bowed.

jimin smiled. "don't mention it. you should probably head to class now."

she only nodded and ran off. what a great way to start the day. she spills her chocolate milk on the cafeteria because of taehyung, she almost fell off the stairs because of taehyung, and she trips since her shoelaces were tied together by taehyung.

that little rat.

"settle down, everyone." mister jung sat on his desk, clearing his table and placing a neat stack of papers on top. "since the weekend is just around the corner, i thought that maybe a project would be good for you kids."

the students groaned and whined. "but, sir," a student named jihyo raised her hand, "that's the only time we get to relax." she protested.

mister jung's mouth formed into an 'o' before clearing his throat. "then park jihyo gets an F in my class."

"i mean, semester break is also coming so a project during the weekend won't be so bad." she quickly says, as she didn't want her perfect A's to be ruined.

the teacher smiled. "glad to hear it. okay, so the project is babysitting."

the students who adore children so much started jumping up and down. those students include jisoo and nayeon. they are very good in handling kids.

"and you'll be doing it by pairs." mister jung added.

jimin pulled taehyung and wrapped his arm around his shoulder. "you know the drill, taehyung-ah," he poked taehyung's cheek.

"uh-uh, not so fast, mister park." the teacher interrupted. he grabbed a sheet of paper from the drawer of his desk and cleared his throat. "i'll be the one assigning the pairs. and please, sit down."

jimin grumbled and slumped down his seat. taehyung, on the other hand, just laughed it off and returned to his seat.

"you'll be paired with the opposite sex, so i expect great teamwork from your pair." the students wanted to protest but seeing the scary look on theit teacher's face, they kept their mouth shut. "i'll be writing the pairs in the whiteboard, is that alright?"

the students answered a short "yes, sir!" and watched their teacher grab a marker from his bag. he started writing the names of the students with their pairs.
