I jump out of my chair, a robotic screech fills my ears as the familiar white, mangled fox swings down from the top of the screen.

"Dangit, Mangle!" I say, placing my headset back over my ears as I scoot back up to the screen. Once Five Nights at Freddy's returns to the title screen, My cell phone starts going off. I pick it up and answer the call.

"Uh, hello?" The voice says.

"Hello," I say.

"Ah, Hello! We are calling to inform you that your application for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza has been accepted," The person says.

"I got the job?" I say, shocked.

"Uh, yes. As you already know, you will be working the nightshift from midnight to six in the morning. We hope to see you here tonight," The person says, hanging up. I hit the end button on my cell and set it down. I can't believe it. I got the job! I'm honestly a little more surprised that they hired a student in high school. I look at the time and see it's twelve 'til ten. I got time to attempt another try. After a while, my screen goes to static. I scoot back up to the computer screen and set my headset back on my head. I look at the time and see it's almost eleven!

"Crap!" I say, quickly hitting the escape key on my keyboard and quickly turning my computer off. I turn the monitor off, grab my phone, wallet, and keys, and rush out of my room. I enter the living room to see Mom sitting on the couch. "Hey, Mom. I'll be out for a while, okay?" I say.

"Okay! Just be careful and drive safe," Mom says.

"Okay. Bye. Love you," I say before heading out the door. I climb into my car and head out for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. After a while of driving, I reach the pizzeria and park in an open spot near the front entrance. Walking up to the pizzeria, I pull out my phone and look at the time to see it's 11:57. Almost the start of my shift. I enter the pizzeria and look around, only to notice it's more spacious than the game makes it seem. I see a janitor cleaning something up, but stops as he looks up at me.

"Oh, hi! You're the new night guard, aren't you?" He says, waving.

"Uh, yeah! I am," I say, waving back.

"Your office is down that hall and all the way to the left!" The janitor says, getting back to work on his mess.

"Thank you," I say. I walk past him and head all the way down the Main Hall. I turn left once I reach the hall by the Parts and Service room. I walk down the hallway to the Office to see someone there. He looks up at me and smiles.

"Hey! You must be, uhm," The man says, trying to remember my name.

"Matthew?" I remind him.

"Matthew! Yes! Well, anyway. Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza! If you will follow me, I will give you a tour of the place," He says, starting to walk off. I walk with him as he begins speaking. "If you haven't found out already, these are our Party Rooms. They're, well, for when we have a party," He says, walking by the four rooms. I follow him down the hall to the Parts and Service.

"Parts and Service?" I say.

"Yeah. It's where the older models are held. It's also where we take any animatronic that may have problems, like a glitch or dent, and fix it up," He says. We walk right by the Restrooms out to the main area. "Here is the main area, where directly to the right, is the Game Area. Over there in that corner is the Prize Corner, and a few more games. And of course, the Show Stage, where Freddy and his gang rest up when not in use," He says. I walk up to the Show Stage and see Toy Freddy, Toy Chica, and Toy Bonnie standing there. In the game, they look soulless and dead, how you would expect animatronics to look like powered off, but seeing them up close for real, they almost look, alive. "This is the band," He says.

"Toy Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica," I say. I turn towards Kid's Cove.

"Yup. Now, if you'll follow- Hey! Where are you-?" He says.

"Going to take a peek at Kid's Cove," I say, heading towards the door.

"Ah, right! I forgot about Kid's Cove. Be prepared, the Foxy in there is in pretty bad condition," He says. I open the door to see the Mangle sprawled on the floor. "I told you she's in pretty bad shape," He says. The Mangle looks worse than she does in the game. It actually kinda makes me feel bad for her. "We just call her Mangle, now. If you may follow me back to the office, please," He says. We leave Kid's Cove and I follow him to the Office. After a walk, we reach the Office.

"Anything else I should know?" I say.

"Ah, yes. Your cameras. If you were paying attention, you may have noticed security cameras placed throughout the pizzeria. You can watch them from this," He says, indicating a tablet sitting on the desk beside the fan. "Now, over at the Prize Corner, there is a music box that is rigged to be wound remotely from this tablet. Go ahead and give it a check," He says. I pick up the tablet and turn it on, to see the familiar sight of the Show Stage. I switch to Cam11 and see a button appear on the screen with a circle.

"I kinda like this tune," I admit.

"Haha, doesn't everyone. You know, the owner really made a good choice for the box. Now, I must warn you, we were told to let the animatronics roam at night, as staying still will lock up their servos. So, just letting you know, they will roam around the pizzeria. Now, there has been a recent, glitch, discovered that, if the animatronics see you after hours will most likely see you as an endoskeleton without it's costume. Now, that being against their programming, they will probably try to put you in one of the suits in the Parts and Service room. That's why, we have this," He says, lifting an empty Freddy Faazbear head onto the desk. "If the animatronics enter your office, just put this on and they should leave. Alright. Your shift is starting soon. Now, from now on, I will contact you via company phone. I may visit every once in a while before your shift, just to check up on you, ya know? Anyway, have a good night, I'll see you tomorrow," He says. He heads out of your office, down the hall. I see a flashlight on the desk and give it a quick test shine down the hall. "Oh yeah! I forgot about the lights! They're the second button on the tablet!" He calls from the opposite side of the hall. I check the time on a digital clock conveniently on my desk. 11:59. That entire tour took two minutes? Wow. I hear a click throughout the building as the clock changes to midnight.

"Okay. Here we go. First night, right? Shouldn't be to hard," I say to myself.
