A New Guard

Chapter Two: The First Night

I give the Prize Corner a glance and see the music box going down slowly. I hold the button on the screen and watch as the circle slowly refills itself. I switch back to the Show Stage and see Toy Bonnie, Freddy, and Chica facing each other, talking? Toy Chica looks at the camera and must have mentioned something about it because now Toy Freddy and Bonnie are facing the camera. My hand must have slipped and hit a button, because soon, I can hear their voices.

"Oh! I think he turned the audio on," Toy Chica says.

"I'll be back," Toy Bonnie says. Toy Bonnie leaves the Show Stage. I quickly switch to the Main Hall and see Bonnie walking down it. I switch to the Prize Corner and wind the music box. I set the tablet down and shine my flashlight down the hall, but see nothing. I pick up the cameras and switch to the Show Stage. Toy Chica and Freddy don't seem to notice.

"What's taking Bonnie so long?" Toy Chica says.

"You have to remember, Bonnie takes the cautious route, avoiding sight of the night guard and takes the right vent," Toy Freddy says. Toy Chica sighs. I switch the cam to Party Room 2 and barely see Toy Bonnie leaning down by the vent. I hear the banging as Toy Bonnie makes his way through the vents. Quickly switching to the Right Vent camera, I watch as Toy Bonnie makes his way past the camera, towards my office. I set the tablet down and put the Freddy head on. My heart is pounding as Toy Bonnie sticks his face in front of me. Soon, Toy Bonnie walks away. Once I no longer hear his footsteps, I take off the head and shine the flashlight down the hall. I pick up the tablet once I verify the coast is clear.

"That was close," I say, winding the box. I check back in with Toy Chica and Freddy, only to see Bonnie rejoined them.

"So? Is it a new guard?" Toy Chica says.

"Yeah. He worries me to, once I came to the office, he put the head on, like he did back at the previous location," Toy Bonnie says. He? They're not talking about who I think they're talking about, are they?

"Great. We have to get rid of him," Toy Freddy says.

"But how? He rewired us to where we can't harm any Fazbear property, including the head," Toy Bonnie says.

"That's why we'll get him by surprise when he has the head off," Toy Freddy says.

"Alright. I'll go for another go," Toy Bonnie says.

"Same here. I'll try to sneak in through the Right Vent," Toy Chica says.

"Go for him," Toy Freddy says. Toy Bonnie and Chica nod and head off stage, heading towards me. I quickly switch to the Prize Corner and wind up the box before switching to the Main Hall and see Chica walking beside Bonnie to me. I hear footsteps and set the tablet down. I quickly shine the flashlight down the hall to see Toy Chica standing there, her beak removed like usual. I decide to quickly bring up the cameras and switch to Party Room 2 and barely see Toy Bonnie entering the vent. I switch to the Right Vent and see Toy Bonnie staying still in the vent.

"Geez. At least the game has more audio cues and they move slower," I say to myself. I glance at the clock and see it reads 5:59. "Come on one more minute," I say to myself. I hear Toy Bonnie continue through the vents into my office. I slide the head on as Toy Bonnie steps in front of me. Once Toy Bonnie is in front of me, the chimes ring, indicating it's six. Toy Bonnie heads directly out of my office and is soon joined by Chica. I take the head off and set the tablet down. I carefully follow Toy Chica and Bonnie to the main area. I slide past the Show Stage as Toy Bonnie and Chica climb up on stage. I head to the main entrance and see the guy from earlier unlocking the door. He opens it and sees me.

"Ah, hello, again! I trust you didn't have much trouble from the animatronics?" He says.

"Uh, no. Not at all, sir," I say.

"Oh! My names Fazbear. Fred Fazbear," He says. He's the owner?

"Okay. Goodbye, Mr. Fazbear," I say, nodding.

"Goodbye, Matthew. Oh, and you can call me Fred," Fred says. I head outside and drive home to get ready for school. Reaching my house, I notice Mom's car isn't home. I unlock the door and head inside, getting ready for school.

'Well, I survived my first night. I just hope that I can survive the rest' I think to myself as I get lunch packed.
