THIRD PERSON POV !

la wasn't a safe place for girls like y/n to roam around, but she did it anyways. she always liked taking walks when she was in her hometown, and figured la wasn't any different.

she was completely wrong though, so many encounters with random men that made her uncomfy led her to a place where she didn't know how to get back to her vacation home. a sigh escaped from her lips.

she took her phone out her pocket to put in the directions to her home but her phone was dead. perfect.

"just my luck." she mumbled and started to just walk, hoping she'd see a familiar spot.

MATT'S POV !

i was driving home after filming a video for my personal channel when i see a girl around my age walking around. she seemed obviously lost and it wasn't safe to roam at night especially in la.

i knew guys around here were creeps so i slowed down by the sidewalk, which probably made me look like a fucking freak, but i could care less.

she stopped, seeming to freeze out of fear. me not saying anything made everything worse and she was about to start speed walking, but i rolled my windows down.

"hey, um you shouldn't be walking around late night. guys around here, they're creeps and you're like their main target especially when you're alone."

"are you talking about yourself? because it's not normal to just follow a 17 year old girl.." she gave a snarky reply, which i understood.

i held my hands up in a way of showing i'm harmless. "are you lost?"

"you didn't answer my question." i watch her cross her arms and start walking. i roll my eyes and yelled out towards her.

"no i'm not a creep, i just wanna make sure you're safe. you looked lost."

Y/N'S POV !

i sigh in defeat. he was right, i was lost. i was gonna die if i let my only chance of help drive off, or he could've killed me. in that moment i didn't really care and i walked towards his car. he was kinda..cute.

i shook my head to stop my thoughts and looked at him and his car. "you're driving a minivan, it kinda makes you look like a kidnapper." i smirk.

"i'm a triplet you dumbass. do you need help or not, it's 2am." he spoke and i nodded. "i'm lost, i had too many encounters of scary guys so i found a hiding spot and i lost the direction back to my house."

"you live here?" he questioned and i shook my head. "vacation home." he nodded and unlocked the door.

"get in, i'll take you home." i just agreed, too desperate to even deny.

when i was in the car i put on my seatbelt and he handed me his phone with a gps. i put in my vacation home address and we were almost 2 hours away.

"goddamn, how long did you walk for?"

"two or three hours i think." i played with my fingers and he shrugged as the google voice started to lead him to my house.

"what's your name?" i question him, just in case he did try to kidnap me.

"matt, you?"

"y/n." i thought about how he told me he was a triplet.

"what's it like being a triplet?" he looked at him, confused. "i don't know. i cant explain because i've never not been a triplet." i nod my head and it grew quiet for a couple of minutes.

"why were you walking to late at night? you do that where you're from?"

"well my parents were arguing, like usual so i just walked out to get some air. i'm from y/h/t (your hometown) so it's somewhat safe there."

"you don't look like a city boy, where are you from?"

"boston, hence the slight accent." i nodded at his words and we continued to talk and listen to some music. we had a lot in common and he let me charge my phone.

THIRD PERSON POV !

the two reached y/n's vacation home and she felt sort of sad that she had to leave.

"can i have your number?" matt asked nervously and y/n smiled towards him, nodding. they traded their phones, putting in each other's number.

"we should hang out soon?" he suggested and she agreed.

"i leave next week, and i have no plans tomorrow is that good?" she said and matt nodded in agreement.

"see you later bernard!" she exited the car and wave.

"see ya y/m/n!"
