Chapter 7: Preparations

Jaden's POV

grabe lang. talagang grabe talaga. life is so unfair. huhuhu! sa pogi kong to? gagawin nyo akong waiter? oh why~

"oh bakit ganyan mukha mo?"

tanong sakin ng magaling kong kakambal. palibhasa kasi nakatoka sya pag paggawa ng booth. designs and mga gagamiting gamit. eh hndi sya papawisan at mapapagod dun dahil for sure, maghihire lang sya ng trabahador. waaaahT___T

"seriously Jade? you're asking me?"

she chuckled. instant akong napangiti. buti naman at nakukuha na nyang tumawa at ngumiti ngayon. hndi man katulad nung dati na halos umabot hanggang mata yung saya nya, at least she's slowly going back to normal.

"para kang tanga. kanina halos umabot na sa lupa yung labi mo sa sobrang busangot ng mukha mo tapos ngayon mukha kang alien na nakangiti dyan."

hndi ko pinansin yung sinabi nya at tumingin ng diretso. and that is a wrong move. i saw AJ walking, talking and laughing with othey guy. it hurts. it pains like hell. i stay calm and force to smile like i didn't see them.

"stupid pretender."

napatigil ako sa paglalakad at napatingin sa kakambal ko. ano daw? stupid pretender? kinabahan ako. alam na ba nya ang lahat? hindi ba ko naging maingat?

"if you love her, fight for her. you stupid moron."

nakahinga ako ng maluwag. yun pala yon. napaisip ako. fight for her? no. i can't risk my happiness now if she could be in danger later. napailing ako at naglakad nalang ulet. kelan kaya matatapos ang lahat? kelan mapapasakin ang babaeng mahal ko?

AJ's POV

"HAHAHA. Oo nga. eh ksi naman sino ba nakaisip na candy factory booth ang gawin natin?"

"aba malay ko. di ako nakikinig eh, di ko maintindihan. mga conyo eh-_- bakit ba kasi kagroup natin yung Dark girls este Mean girls?"

natawa naman ako sa sinabi nya. kasama ko ksi ngayon si V. kagroup ko sya at medyo naging kaclose ko na sya since parehong computer and hilig namin. tinutukoy nya ay yung kagrupo namin na dalawang maarte magsalita. conyo. Mean girls daw tawag sa kanila. sina Naomi at Cameron.

napatingin ako sa unahan at nakitang papalapit sina Paige and Jaden. i look at Jaden and saw him smiling. suddenly, i felt pain. what am i thinking? how can he act like nothing's wrong? is there really something wrong? or it's just me? i pretend like i didn't saw him and continue laughing with V. great AJ. you're great at hiding feelings. keep it up-_-

Paige's POV

andito kami ngayon sa school grounds. itinuro na samin ng facilitator ang pwesto ng booth namin. i calculated the measure and i think, it fits on our theme. i get my cellphone in my pocket and dial mom's number.

"hey mom."

[oh hi darling. why did you call?]

"uhm mom, there is an on-going preparations for the school fest that will be held 2weeks from now. we have to make a booth. our theme is Cafe Booth. and i need your help."

[school fest? that's fun baby. what can i do for you?]

"can you please hire a worker to build a mini cafe house? it's my part."

[ohh, is that so? ok, wait.]

narinig kong may kinausap sya sa kabilang linya bago sya ulit nagsalita para kausapin ako.

[ok na baby. they will be there in 15mins. oh by the way, are you group with Jaden?"

"thanks mom. yes, we're at the same group."

[all for you baby. take care ok? loveyou.]

*toot toot toot*

i smiled. i missed mom. maybe i can visit them one time. i will tell Jaden.

"hey Jaden, i missed mom&dad."

"yeah. i missed them too."

"do you think, we can visit them-"

"NO! i mean, not now. maybe uhm, after school year."

"What? after school year? you mean, they can't attend our graduation?"

"no. they can. they can, don't worry. just don't visit them now. they are busy. yeah, they are busy."

he seemed tense. i shrug. after 15 minutes, men in black came. i guess they are about 10-15 persons. i got aware and hold my waist band to ready my gun. nakarating sila sa tapat namin at nagbow.

"good day Mam Saraya. we are the workers that your mother sent. can we start now?"

i sighed. mom really did it well-_- tumango ako at tinuro sa kanila kung saan nila itatayo yung mini cafe booth namin. nagulat pa nga yung mga kagroup ko at ibang studyante nang may ipasok silang truck na puno ng materials like woods, glass, paints, elegant table set and kitchenwares like blender, coffee maker, oven, and cute glassware.

nagsimula na silang magsukat at magpukpok. gawa dito pukpok dun. pintura dito, gawa dun. almost whole afternoon past and it's already done. i come to pay them but they said that mom already paid them. umalis na yung mga trabahador. i look at the whole cafe house and i can nearly say it's perfect. it's painted with the combination of silk woods and elegant light pink with a cute ribbon chandelier.

my groupmates excitedly enter the cafe and rushed into the kitchen. they look amazed and happy. they thank me and say i did a great job. tss, not me. workers did-_- Jaden know me a lot. he knew i was unto this.

after that day, preparations got rushed. we only have 2days to finish our booth.

"here is the menu. i listed basic drinks and grande sweets. the cost is based on the used ingredients. it's not that expensive so everyone can afford it."

"ok, who will go with me later to buy the ingredients?"

"uhm, me!"

"ok then. i already done sewing the costumes. here, sukat nyo muna para alam ko kung may adjustments."

binigay nya samen isa isa yung susuotin namin. i walk to the restroom and fit it. i look at the mirror and got shock. is this really me?

i wear a short black skirt with white ribbon at the back and a tube that reveals my belly button piercing with a black riffles around my shoulder.

dahan dahan akong lumabas at lumapit sakanila. geez, i feel like i'm blushing. they stare at me like i'm an alien. i knew it. hindi bagay saken.

"you're.a.goddes Saraya!"

nakangangang sabi ng isang kagroup naming lalaki. i blushed even more.

"uhh. guys?"

i snap at their faces. they blink twice and smiled at me. other raise a thumb. may umakbay sakin at tinignan kung sino. oh, ang pogi ng kakambal ko. tinignan ko yung mga babae. naka heart shape na siguro mga mata nila ngayon.

Jaden wears a black fitted slack and a white polo with a ribbon at his neck. he really looks like a waiter. pfftXD

"sana kapatid nyo ko para ganyan din ako kaganda."

"ay ayokong maging kapatid ni Jaden. para pwede kaming magpakasal!"

sari-saring comments pa ang narinig ko. naiilang na ako sa suot ko kaya nagpalit na ako ng damit.

Steven's POV

holymotherofcow. is that really her? she's.... HOT. fuck it. i can't help but to stare at her. she's so damn sexy.

"pre, matunaw."

sinamaan ko ng tingin si Rex at binalik ang tingin kay Jade. oo Jade tawag ko sakanya. pake nyo ba? teka! may umakbay sakanya. nag-init agad ang ulo ko at lumakad para sana lapitan yung lalaki pero napaatras naman agad ako. bakit nga ba ako nagreact? tsk. ano ba to? ayy. ewan. ang gulo.-____-
