Verena had looked at the two boys, eyebrows arched at both of them. "You guys want to to come with your guys little trip?" She crossed her arms and Jason only grinned. "Yeah. We're not going rouge or anything. Just taking visual verification." He had mentioned and Gar nodded in agreement. Going to find Dr. Light with these two was a bad idea, yes, but to get out the tower and actually do some real work did sound like fun.

The boys had knew she was still thinking about this whole thing, "Look, Verena, you could warn us of potential dangers." Jason had tried to convince her more, "Dangers? How would I help?" Rena had sighed, leaning against her door frame. Both Gar and Jason shared looks, "You could be our...hearing. Since you know, you have enhanced hearing and stuff." Gar had nervously smiled, Verena smacked her lips together. "Okay," the boys had a sigh of relief, "But, we're calling Dick as soon as we find something." She had grabbed her leather jacket and slipped it on. She pushed past the boys who just stared at her, "Well? Let's go."

( 25 minutes later )

The soft buzzing sound of the dim lights through the stairwell had echoed, the three teens were currently walking, trying to find anything about Dr.Light. "I thought this was reconnaissance only. You're overdressed." Gar had rolled his eyes at Jason, who was wearing his full superhero suit.  "We're not on a full mission, Jay. Just checking some things out." Verena couldn't believe he was going out in his Robin suit, like anything could happen.

Only the boy could chuckle at both of them, making them share a look. "Exactly. Reconnaissance on a homicidal psychopath. Safety first." He cockily says at them. "Trust me, I have tons of safety." She puts her hands in her pockets, they were just going to check in the lightbulb dude was around here and even try to figure out his plan and next place for his light source. "I'm calling Dick." Gar had started to walk back up the stairs until Jason stops him.

"Come on, man. You agreed to help me out. Please?" Gar had only thought about it for a moment, "Come on, even Rena agreed." She shook her head, "That's only because I wanted to get out the house and you'll said you do my part of the dishes next week." She corrected Jason, who just rolled his eyes playfully. "Let's uh, split up." Jason offered a plan, "That's how they die in horror movies." Recalled Rena, who thought it was a bad idea. "Huh?" Gar looked at him like he was crazy. "You guys wanna get out of here, fast right? The three of us will get the job done faster." He had lastly said before walking away.

Verena looked at Gar, "Scream if you're in danger." She had walked to the right, now catching the chills at how cold it was in the lightly dimmed hallways. She had turned on the flashlight and started walking when she didn't find anything too suspicious. "God, this is creepy." Hearing the rats squeal, the water running in the pipes and the rats movement of the train. She had continued to walk when she heard a muffled scream echoing, and it sounded  like Jason's.
