"This place is amazing!" Verena had practically squealed out in excitement. She loved the tall, dark wooden bookshelf's. It was her kinda place, her comfort. She had already planned which books she wanted to read over the course of the time she was staying here. "This is insane. Batman's actual books!" Gar's voice had came into the mix from above. Verena had floated up towards where Gar was, smiling as he cheeses over the books.
Verena had looked back at Conner, seeing as he was making a sandwich on one of Batman's books. "Aw, dude!" She scolds him, frowning as she does so, "What are you doing?" Gar looks at him with confusion, Conner takes a bite, "What?" His mouth full, crumbs falling done onto the leather couch. "Don't put food on his books, man." Gar tells him, sighing. "Hey, it must taste expensive since it's on his books." Verena smirked, making Gar roll his eyes at the childish comment. "Were you raised in a barn?" He asked Conner, who just raised his eyebrows.
"Mmh," He hums, "Test tub, actually." Gar shakes his head in disappointment at him before returning his attention on the books, "Hey, does Superman have a library?" Conner asked the teens, Verena just gave him a warm smile. "I'm sure he does." The girl has floated down, gently landing on her feet, making her way towards one of the chairs. "I feel like he's got a whole bunch of space rocks and shit." Gar had told him. Kory had came in the library, her feet was stomping and she was angrily speaking her Tamaranian language.
Verena furrowed her eyebrows at the lady, "Oh, hey Kory, you gotta check this out. It's..." Gar had smiled over to her, but it faded away as Kory had walked out, not even sparing him a glance. Verena couldn't understand what she was saying, yes, even though they're both "aliens", they spoke completely two different languages. She continues to shout, "Kory?" The teens had quickly followed the adult im the kitchen, she looked stressed or worried about something. "Kory, talk to me." Gar had tried approach her.
Kory had turned around, projecting fire out of her hands, Conner quickly shields Gar, Verena who had put up a shield to protect herself from the flames. Kory had gasped, eyes turning back to normal, she almost looked dazed in her state. Verena puts her shield down, looking at Kory with concern written on her face. "Please tell me that was grease fire."

Verena couldn't believe the news. Jason was alive. The mission yesterday had went horrible, Dick had fought Jason, who now went by the name Red Hood. It was shocking to say the least. "It's impossible." Verena had said to Conner, who nodded in agreement, even though he didn't know who Jason was. Only the part where he saved him from the falling building. "Dick looked shocked. I would be too if I saw a dead family member." He had glanced at her, then going back to his book.
