You know how sometimes you tell yourself you're not going to fall asleep, only to startle yourself awake a little while later? That's what happened. I told myself to stay awake, don't be that girl who he can't kick off the bus because she fell asleep. I was totally that girl, but in my defense, I hadn't been fucked like that since...forever?

My face is pressed against warmth, I peek my eyes open to see Colson hasn't moved either. I know he's not sleeping though, the room is filled with the smell of sweet Mary Jane. I rub my eyes, adjusting myself so that I can see his face.

"She's back." He smirks and brings the joint close to my lips, offering me what he's been smoking.

My lips wrap around the joint and I take a small hit, inhaling deep into my lungs before slowly exhaling into the already smokey room. As if I needed any more in my system. "Sorry, I really didn't mean to fall asleep."

"Hey I'm proud I fucked you into exhaustion, don't take that away from me. Besides you've only been out maybe an hour." He laughs and traces his fingers down my side, giving me goosebumps all over again. That's when I sort of realize he'd cuddled me the whole time, his arm was still wrapped around me. Who would've guessed.

"I just didn't want to over stay my welcome, invade your space. You know?" I run my fingernails over his tattoos on his stomach, tracing every line. So surreal that I have this mans tattoos memorized, every detail, I've sketched them for fun. my obsession knows no boundaries. Then here I am touching the tattoos I've admired for years.

"You think I was in a hurry toss you out on your ass or something? I wanna toss you around in my bed baby, but as much as I'd love watching you walk away I'd never be in a hurry to send that ass out the door." Colson says before taking one more hit off his joint, then snubs it out in a ashtray on the nearby stand.

"You're pretty fucking cool too."

"Oh, so I'm more than just a big ass then?" I laugh.

"Hey, amazing, beautiful, big ass. don't joke, that ass could bring peace on earth. I love that fucking ass, but yes. You're actually a cool girl, I'm not in a rush to send you packing." Colson's hand comes down and grabs my ass firmly, he shakes it with his hand, staring at the way it moves. My face blushes red, regardless of how he fucked me senseless. I felt shy watching him stare at my ass jiggling around like that.

You're so bad." I hide my face against his chest.
He laughs some more and gives my ass a light slap.

"And you're a pretty little vixen." He traces the outline of the tattoo on my ribs. It's 'still I rise' written in small script.

"I like this one too." He says.

I shiver at his touch, such hands. "I got that when I officially became a tattoo artist. When I decided I wanted to pursue that career, everyone was against me. Literally, everyone. Made it hard to accomplish anything. So I did it without them. This tattoo is to remind me I can overcome anything on my own." I shrug.

"Fuck them. You need to make yourself happy. Your ex didn't support you?" He tucks my hair behind my ear.

"Kyle? No. I don't think he's ever supported me with anything. Kyle compares my job to coloring books. He was really against it, especially when it came to tattooing other guys. He didn't like when I got tattoos either, which is probably what made my mother adore him like she does." I roll my eyes.

"Shit, he sounds like a bitch. Your parents liked him?" Colson asks sounding irritated.

Man, you sound like a bitch, bitch
Man up and handle your shit (ugh)

"Well, my dad's never been around. My mom loves Kyle actually, she's going to lecture me when she finds out we aren't together anymore. I just can't stand him, can't fake the happiness anymore." I say honestly.
