As much as we may try, we will never follow
God's commandments exactly. We will never measure up or be perfect. Jesus was and is the only perfect person to ever wall this earth.
He is also proof - Proof of God's
love for us. Every time that we look to the cross, we should remember how God gave his only Son for us (Yes, you and me). Why? It's
all because He wanted to have a relationship with us. He could not stand the thought of us, his children, being separated from Him forever.
Just like today, sin had separated us fron Him. But now, through Jesus, we have a path to
the Lord. Even more importantly, He has a path to us.
He has fought for you, and He is fighting
for you.
No matter what you do, He fights to be with you, all so that you can feel His abounding love.
So today, know that you deserve, love, respect, and compassion. The God of the universe fights for you, not because of who you are, but because of who He is. He is our Father.

Today's chapter is dedicated not only to God, but to all of the father's out there who love and care for their children. Parenting is a hard job, but every child deserves to be loved. Thank you to all of the good parents, mothers too, who have helped raise strong and capable children.
If you cannot look to your earthly father (or parent) for guidance, remember that your heavenly one is glad to help you.
2 Chronicles 20:17 (ESV) You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.' Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you."
