Sunday, 6 pm.

"What happened to them?" Radhika asked as she took a seat on the sofa in Dhruv's office. He was reading some articles. Vaarsh and Ansh were sitting on the opposite side of Dhruv with their heads on the table.

"Both of them had spent the whole day keeping an eye on Oliver Langston. They are now too tired to even move." Dhruv replied.

"Don't joke Dhruv. You were back at home spending time with your wife while we were busy working." Ansh said lifting his head with a frown on his face.

"Don't frown so much. It will bring wrinkles on your face." A sweet voice came from the door. Radhika turned around to see Asmita, the sub-inspector from the missing people department, a very sweet and caring lady who joined the department about four months before Radhika. "And here...is your file." She said placing a black-covered file in front of Dhruv.

"Thank you for bringing it." Dhruv smiled.

"You are most welcome," Asmita replied before returning to her department.

"What is the file about?" Radhika asked while going up to the table for a better view.

"Bristi 's boyfriend's details," Dhruv said, taking out the papers from inside the file.

"She had a boyfriend?" Radhika asked being completely shocked. She thought she had something with her brother Ishaan.

"Yes.... your brother didn't know about it," Dhruv said understanding what was on Radhika's mind by her expressions. "And this makes the case turn towards ."

"A different direction?" Radhika asked, not being able to figure out what Dhruv meant.

"Yes!" Vaarsh said lifting his face finally. He had been lying there for about half an hour. "Sorry to say but this can turn this case towards Ishaan."

"WHAT?" Radhika asked. Are they completely out of their mind? What were they even trying to say?

"I met with Bristi's friends and learned she has a boyfriend but still she had something going on with your brother. Sorry to say but your brother can have a motive here if he wants..."

"What are you trying to say?" Radhika asked in rage. "Are you trying to say that my brother killed a person? He is just seventeen, Dhruv!!"

"Well, most of the crimes are caused by people around this age only," Ansh said. His voice was too low. They knew how hard the case was for Radhika but they needed to solve the case and that's the reason why they had to bring out every possibility. It was their duty.

"Then what about the footage? Ishaan didn't even leave the elevator and he was back in the hall room within 15 minutes. If he did cause the crime...then when?" Radhika asked being completely frustrated. "You can't accuse someone like this without any evidence."

"We had been keeping an eye on Mr. Langston for the past three days. We didn't find anything. There is no motive." Vaarsh said.

"And Ishaan can have an acquaintance. Moreover, he knew them from childhood. The resort can be under his good memory." Dhruv said while leaning back in his chair.

"Oh god!!" Radhika sighed. "Then from where did he enter?"

"That's the mystery!!" Ansh said.

Radhika really couldn't take it anymore. The things they were saying had a point and being an inspector herself she needed to understand that without bringing her emotions in the middle but how? How will she believe that her brother can do something like that? He was never able to kill a mosquito. Killing a person...IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

"I need to go back. I have to attend the magic show." Radhika said before coming out of the room.

Her mind was lingering in thoughts. She went to the resort with Vaarsh for a recheck on Thursday. There was nothing new other than a presence. She felt someone had visited the room before them but found no one. The weapon was not found. She was already disturbed by all those and now her colleagues were pointing at Ishaan.

And now she had to attend the Magic show in between all this chaos. She had to again hear her mother's useless lectures. The only positive thing was the presence of all the members of the Arc. She can find out something more.

It took her about twenty minutes to reach the destination. At first, she thought it would be hard to find out the place but she didn't face any problem, thanks to all the big posters of the magic show all around the city.

Fixing up her makeup she got out of her car and walked up to the entrance and found Mr. Jai Singh, manager of Keshav talking with some people who looked like technicians. She met him when she and Vaarsh visited Keshav under Mr. Das's orders.

He was a guy in his early forties, a good fellow which could be easily understood by his face. True to the proverb that one can understand a person's character by his facial features.

He was nothing like Keshav who looked like something from the outside and seemed different from the inside, a guy with deep secrets. She couldn't figure him out and that was the reason she was getting so attracted to him.

"Good evening, Mr. Singh," Radhika said walking up to him. A big smile formed on his face seeing her.

"Most welcome Radhika. Your family had already arrived. Please come in." Mr. Jai said gesturing his hand towards the entrance of the building.

Radhika nodded and followed him to the auditorium where the show was going to take place. People were either trying to find seats or talking with others. As she walked to the front seats her eyes fell on her mother and the other members of the Arc except for Ishaan and Mr. Langston.

"Where is Ishaan?" Radhika asked taking a look around the place to see if her brother was there or not.

"He is in the green room along with Keshav. There had been a problem with Mr. Langston." Mr. Jai said.

"What problem?"

"He had a part in the show but due to the recent problems Keshav advised him not to do it and he had been making chaos from that time." Mr. Jai sighed.

"Can I go there?" Radhika asked. She thought keeping an eye on Mr. Langston would be good.

"Yeah sure." Mr. Jai replied before taking her towards the green room. She was about to knock on the door but a furious-looking Mr. Langston came out of the room. He went away without even acknowledging them.

"Oh! God!! Let me see what happened. You stay here. This Keshav will kill me one day!!" Mr. Jai said as he ran after Mr. Langston.

"Radhika!!" Keshav's deep voice came from inside the room. Radhika had been so surprised to see Mr. Langston that she didn't even look inside the room. On hearing her name, she turned back and gasped at the sight.
