THREE YEARS LATER
PRESENT TIME, JULY 2022
Keshav is going through a list on his tab, trying to avoid the fight going inside the room. With Mrs. Lily handing him over to the school and Rishav's engagement party on hand, his life is well, pretty busy. He has too much work to do...
On the occasion of the engagement, everyone is in the Sengupta house, which is chaos.
And the scene going inside his room is disturbing him too much. "God! Guys...can't you go and do this in another room?" He asks standing up, putting the tab on the bed.
"See who is speaking?" Rishav mocks snatching the coat from Ansh's hands. "You walk around looking like a damn model from those fashion magazines, and in my case, you are into that tablet. Can't you help me choose the dress for the evening?"
"Yes Keshav, I think you should help him. It's a big day for Rishav." Ansh says with the goal of teasing Rishav. "He finally got himself a girl!!"
"Alright, alright," Keshav chuckles, picking up the off-white coat from the chair and held it in front of Rishav. "Wear this, you will look good."
"Thank you so much." Rishav takes the coat from Keshav's hand before turning towards the mirror.
"So, if the problem is solved here...I will make my way out. I need to show the list to your father." Keshav says before walking out of the room with the tablet.
A slight smile forms at the corner of his lips, as he thinks of how everything got back into right track again. Everyone got indulged in their own lives. Rishav is getting engaged this evening and Ansh is happily dating Asmita.
Vaarsh met a girl last month in a party and seeing how happy he was, Keshav is sure that sparks are flowing.
On his way to Jairaj Sengupta's room, Keshav's eyes fall on Dhruv. He is walking in the corridor with a sweet burden over his shoulder. He came to help in the engagement arrangements but his three years old daughter is definitely not letting him.
Dhruv is completely different when he is with his daughter. The stress of his hard work leaves him the moment he sees his daughter. He is really a very good father.
A type of father Keshav wants to become in the future if he can. A father who loves his family more than anything in his life. With each passing day he tries to forget about the incidents of three years back. There is nothing to worry about anymore.
Vikram Sengupta and Dhriti are sentenced to life long imprisonment for murder charges and using of witchcraft. Though they are out of their lives, it is true that they will never leave completely. They will stay back as bad memories and haunt them sometimes.
So, it is on them to toughen up themselves and move on.
"Keshav!!"
Hearing his name, Keshav turns around and sees Vaarsh and Jairaj Sengupta sitting at the dining table, drinking coffee and talking among themselves.
"I was going to you only." Keshav says walking up to them. "The whole list is in the tablet. Check it once when you are free."
"Is it for the upcoming show in the school?" Vaarsh asks taking a sip of his coffee.
Keshav nods. "But uncle you should not have coffee in this time of the day. Vaarsh never listens to me but you should. Aunty will not leave you if she finds out."
"Don't worry...she will never find out. She has gone out with Lily." Mr. Sengupta says shaking his head.
"And sometimes we need to break the rules, Keshav...."
