"What are you doing here?" Dhriti asked him, snapping out of the shock. "You shouldn't be here. What if they see you? We don't have time...we have to escape." She lowered her voice so that no one can hear her, "And I am sorry, I couldn't carry out the task. They reached here too fast and your daughter is far more powerful than I expected. She was able to break the spells two times."

"I know, I know," Mr. Sengupta said climbing up two steps to reach where Dhriti was. "And that's why we have to do another thing."

"What?"

"You do know that I love you right?" Mr. Sengupta asked cupping Dhriti's face with his hands.

On Dhriti's nodding, he moved back his hands and said, "You need to surrender yourself so that I can make my position back to where it was. When everything will go back to normal and they would least expect anything, I will free you from the jail, carry out our plan of acquiring the powers from Rai and then flee from here. You will do it for me, right?

How could you think you will be able to escape with me being alive?" He quickly changed his words seeing Dhruv running out of the room towards them.

"Thank you so much for catching her." Dhruv thanked pulling Dhriti back and handcuffing her hands.

"Don't thank him now only Dhruv. Later, you will regret it like me." Radhika said coming from behind along with Keshav.

"What?" A bewildered Dhruv asked.

"Dhriti will go to jail for sure but he will also!!" Radhika's voice shook as she pointed her revolver at her father.

"What are you saying, Rai? Have you gone mad?" Mr. Sengupta asked, pining his gaze on Radhika who in turn stared back at him, biting the insides of her cheeks.

She counted her breathing to prevent her emotions to take control of her and let the tears flow. Betrayal!!... Again another betrayal and this time it was from that very person whom she loved more than anyone in her life.

All those sufferings, that immense pressure she created on her, the period she spent remembering her father, fighting with her emotions every day, just to become tougher and tougher so that she can face the culprit, became a lie just in a few seconds.

No! It was a lie for the entire time. All that she had gone through was a lie. And now she was getting the result of making a complete fool out of herself for not believing what she saw in her dream, ten years back before her father was attacked.

"How could you do this?" She asked breathing hard, her chest rising and falling in irritation and anger. She was not being able to endure his act anymore.

How? How could he betray his own family? Didn't he love her, her mother, and her brother, not even for a single day also? Was he always like this for the entire time? All that he did for his family...was it all an act? Did she fail in recognizing her father?

"What did I do Rai? Why are you acting like this?" Mr. Sengupta asked taking a few steps closer.

"Don't come closer," Radhika commanded. "You have lost the right to come closer."

"Why are you doing this? See I stopped Dhriti from escaping."

"Huh!", Radhika scoffed, "So you are not going to accept even after this? How many more plans do you have?"

"What is happening here?" Rishav asked from behind Keshav. After putting out the fire, he and Yash followed behind holding a calmed down Ishaan. Thinking that he could lose control again, they didn't release him.
