Rika's pov

I asked, "What's wrong Grey-Sky?" With a deep sigh Grey-Sky said, "I don't know if you guys have noticed but... Our caretakers are no longer here." Sonic and I said, "We know." I sighed before I said, "A few weeks after I started protecting the Indian village half of the villagers start to think I wasn't so bad and yet I had hope that BrightWing was still alive. I asked the chief and he said he would help me. He taught me the way of the smoke vision. That night my heart sank when I know that BrightWing, LongClaw, and Jericho didn't stand a chance." He sighed deeply. Sonic and I looked at each other. I asked him, "Can't you show us?" He sighed. It indicated that he didn't want to show us what he saw. It was confirmed 'my indication' as he said, "I'm sorry you guys but I can't. I can't let you see what I saw. It was painful seeing them die in front of my eyes. That's when Sonic said, "Please Grey-Sky. You don't haft to suffer this alone. We're your friends." He looked at my magenta eyes and Sonics green eyes. With a defeated sigh he said, "Fine. But you won't like what you see." Thats when we saw him do some kind of ritual in front of the fire in front of us. He was speaking. Chanting is more like it, in some sort of Native American language. Then within a second, we both looked around and see we were back at the world we were born in. Sonic asked, "Where are we?" Grey-Sky said to us, "This is the past. We are at the time LongClaw, Jericho, and BrightWing were taking on the tribe. But I didn't see much of it the first time. Cause BrightWing and Jericho already arrived when I saw it." I asked, "But where is it?" He pointed at the scene. We saw Jericho fighting off the tribe while BrightWing was trying to help LongClaw. Jericho shouted as he was trying to fight off the tribe, "LongClaw there's too many of them! I can't hold them off much longer! BrightWing! you and LongClaw Go and meet up with the kids and leave me behind! I'll do what I can to make sure they don't follow!" LongClaw said, "No. I am not leaving you Jericho!" BrightWing said, "Besides my sister too injured to go further." One of the echidna's throw a spear at LongClaw but BrightWing got in the way. To our horror she got hit in the back. As a result LongClaw got hit too. Jericho shouted, "NNOOO!!" With fury he took on the echidna's one by one. We rush to them in tears. LongClaw groaned while looking at BrightWing and said, "I-I'm sorry." BrightWing replied to her, "You have nothing to feel sorry for. We are all lucky Grey-Sky and Rika are sent to the other world too. Sonic isn't alone. He has them with him now." LongClaw smiled a little before she said with a sigh, "Guess will be seeing Father again." BrightWing chuckled weakly and said, "Yeah. Father I guess me and LongClaw will be seeing you soon." With their final breath they passed away. I was on the verge of tears as Sonic had a sad expression. We turn to see Jericho with spears on his body defeating the last echidna warrior in his sight. It aches my heart to see him like this. Jericho then collapsed and said with his final breath, "FeatherBrave. I'm sorry. I-I failed you. Everyone.. I'm sorry. Rika... Remember I care about you as much as LongClaw and BrightWing care about your friends. I-I'm sorry i-it had to end like this. I hope you and your friends become the bravest warriors in the galaxy." He died in front of us. I shouted as we were back in the real world, "NNNNOOOO!!"
