Never Again

Chapter 7

Recap: I then turned my phone off and skated back home. I chucked my skateboard in the garage, then opened the door.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!!!!"

I flinched back, I mean who wouldn't, especially when you've got an angry Dallas in your face.

"Out" I replied.

"You don't say" She replied, obviously wanting an explanation. I stood there, obviously not giving her one. "Where did you go?"

"The park" I replied blankly.

"Well your twitter says otherwise" She stated, while shoving her phone in my face.

"Really? I never noticed" I stated, knowing I was pissing her off.

"Well it's your twitter" She said, while clenching and unclenching her teeth. I grinned, knowing I'd won.

"You don't say" I said, quoting her.

"ARGHHHH YOU'RE FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE I'LL LET MOM DEAL WITH YOU" She shouted, while storming off.

I grinned, then opened the door to the lounge, plopping down next to whoever was on the couch. I heard a sigh, then the couch rustle. I turned around, knowing it was Maddie. I looked up at her brown eyes.

"Spill" Was the only word that came out of her mouth. I smiled.

"Oh, you know, just the usual" I replied, smirking.

"You know you gotta stop doing that, cause one day karma will come real hard" She stated.

"Karma can kick my ass all it wants but it won't effect me if I don't let it" I said, smirking as I ticked another person off my list.
"Impossible: I heard her mutter as she stormed up the stairs.

I then grabbed the remote and flicked through the movies. I scrolled down thousands of them. Literally. Most of them were horror though. Demetrias pick. Obviously. YESSS!!!!!!!!! Mean Girls!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally!!!!!!!!!! I clicked on it, then ran into the kitchen to get some snacks. When I say 'Snacks' I don't mean those healthy ones that little miss perfect eats, but the real ones, the lollys, I went to my shelf on the cupboard and got out a packet of strawberry bubblegum, a cup of chocolate chip mint ice cream, and a bottle of whipped cream. Unhealthy yes, but, I burn it off later. Plus it works, i've already got a six pack, on my way toward an eight pack, just by going for a three hour run at morning and night, occasionally mid-day if I can be stuffed. Obviously today I can't. I then grabbed a spoon for the ice cream and ran back to where the movie was playing.

After about an hour I heard two pairs of footsteps coming down the stairs, then entering the lounge.

"What you watching? Ohh yay!!! Mean Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Maddie said, while sitting down on the couch next to me. She then cuddled into me.

"Go ahead, use me as a pillow, don't worry i'm a human pillow" I said sarcastically.

"Why thank you my human pillow" Maddie said, while grabbing the whipped cream and spraying some into her mouth. I laughed and turned back to the tv.

"Ohhh cuddles! I'm joining too!" A voice chimed, most likely Dallas.

The body sat down next to me, then wrapped their arms around Maddie and I. I inhaled the scent of vanilla. That can't be Dallas. Dallas smells like Strawberrys. I looked at the figure just as they looked away from me. Demetria. I decided to let it go for now, and worry about it later, i'm comfortable and there's no way in hell that i'm moving. (A/N: See what I did there? Let it go? No?) I cuddled back into Maddie, occasionally chewing on the strawberry bubblegum that I have in my mouth. Soon enough I drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

Dallas POV:
I got home a few hours after I had walked out on Riley. How can she be so damn annoying? It's quite cute though. But still annoying. Very annoying. Talking about annoying the fued Demi and Riley have going on is sooooo annoying. And childish. And annoying. Annoying... Hmm... That word seems to be coming around alot lately... It's been getting annoying...

The house seems awfully quiet, normally you can hear Demi singing, Maddie laughing, Mom cooking, Dad doing whatever he does, and Riley blasting her music at ear piercing volume. As I walked further into the house I heard faint sounds coming from the lounge, me being the curious person I am, followed those sounds. I opened the door to the lounge, what I saw there shocked me. Demi and Riley on the same couch cuddling with each other?!?!?!?! Never... I rubbed my eyes... It didn't help. After a while of watching them sleep I decided to join them. I lay down next to Maddie and drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
