We walked into the classroom. The teacher had already started the roll. She was way past our names, great, just my luck.
"You're late you know" She said while looking at her computer screen.
"Yeah, we know, ummm, " I trailed off, not able to bring myself to remember her name.
"Mrs Storey" She finished, and looked up. "I guess you three are Maddison, Riley, and Isabelle" She said.
"Yeah" I said and noticed Maddie wincing. I poked my tongue out at her.
"Miss Lovato, there will be no poking tongue out while i'm the teacher" She said. I groaned. "Do you have a problem with that?" She asked sternly.
"No ma'am" I replied sheepishly.
"Okay go sit down, but, you will come for a detention after school" She said. I nodded and sat at my seat at the back.
The rest of the day went pretty quickly. It was nearly the end of the day. RING RING RING the bell rang, everyone scurried out of class. I saw Maddie and Issie waiting outside for me.
"Hey guys, Maddie, you'll have to go home by yourself" I said, while hugging them and racing off in the direction of Mrs Storey's class. "See ya'll later, stay safe Mads"
"Yup, and i'll send Dallas to get you" She said while walking away with Issie.
"Cool, see you guys soon" I said.
I took a deep breath and walked into the classroom. Mrs Storey is sitting at her desk.
"You came?" She actually sounds suprised.
"Well, duh, otherwise I wouldn't be here" I said sarcastically.
"Oh" She said and returned to the computer. "Do whatever you want, I really don't care"
I laughed.
"Oh oh oh I really don't care!" I sang.
"Wow, you're good, wanna go in the music room?" She asked.
"Sure!" I replied.
An hour later.
"Dammit, i've gotta go" I said, while checking the time.
"Okay, want to go here tomorrow?" She asked.
"Yes please" I replied.
"Okay, see you tomorrow"
"Bye" I said while running out of the door to find Dallas.
"Hey babygirl how was school?" She asked.
"Good, I got a detention, but Mrs Storey and I just spent it in the music room" I said.
"That's cool" She said. Then i plugged my earphones in and eventually fell asleep in the car.
