Never Again

Chapter 8

Rileys POV:
I woke up with my head in a awkward position leaning against an arm. I groaned and got up, stretching my body, I'm pretty sure I heard a few cracks. I slowly trudged up the stairs, entering my room, and lying down on my comfortable bed. I looked over at the clock; 7:30am. Shit. I shot up, hitting my head. I then ran into my closet, searching through my clothes, finally finding an outift suitable for school; A black and white striped top, white ripped jeans, my handbag, white converse, and a few rings. I curled my black hair, cleaned my teeth, and chucked a bottle of water, and a pack of mints in my bag. I then ran downstairs, seeing that Maddie, Dallas, and Demetria were still asleep I rang the school, saying Maddie was sick and wouldn't be coming. I then scribbled a note for them. I grabbed an apple, and ran to the bus stop.

--At School--

"Hey Riley" I heard as I walked through the gates of hell. The students made way for me as I made my way to my locker. I looked up when I reached my locker.

"Hey" I replied, getting my books out.

"You okay? You don't sound to good, and by the way you look like shit" My best friend, Aiden said.

"Feel like shit too, " I replied. "I guess that's what you get for sleeping in your sisters arms" I added.

"What?! Demetria?! I thought you hated her?!?!?!?!" Aiden screeched.

"Keep it down, and yes I do hate her" I said, noticing the crowd had turned to look at us. I glared at them and they looked away.

The bell rang before he could answer. I strolled off to my class, arriving just before the teacher walked in.

"Wow, Miss De La Garza, you're on time, is there something wrong?" The teacher asked. I glared, and sat down at the back. I then proceeded to play candy crush on my phone, completely oblivious to what the teacher was saying.

The bell rang. Again.

--After School--

As I walked out the school gates I heard someone call my name. I turned around to see Aiden and Justin in Justins car beckoning me to come. I nodded and ran over, hopping in the backseat, and putting my seatbelt on.

"Hey Ri" Justin said.

"Hey" I replied.

"Is it okay if we go to the mall? I need to get new shoes, my ones are wearing out" Justin said, pointing to his faded Nikes.

"Yup, of course, and while we're there I want to look in topshop" I said.

The boys groaned, but agreed.

The car stopped and we all got out. The boys went to Nike while I headed off to Topshop. I was looking through the racks when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around. A girl was standing there, about my age, she had long brown hair, and blue eyes.

"Hi, i'm Lexi" She said.

"Riley" I said.

"So, um, I kinda thought ths would look good on you" She said holding up a dress.

"Okay, i'll go try it on" I walked over to the changing rooms. When I came out of the changing room she squealed.

"I knew it I knew it I knew it!!!!" She said. "You look fab!!!" I smiled.

I went over to the counter and paid for it. I then went outside and went to the bathrooms to change into it, I came out and sat on the bench beside topshop. It wasn't long till Lexi came out of the shop.

"OMG can I give you a makeover? Please?" She begged. I rolled my eyes and nodded. She dragged me to the hair salon. She then asked for a color, but made sure I didn't hear. We went from shop to shop until about half an hour later we stopped outside topshop. I then went into the changing rooms to check what I looked like. Wow. My hair, previously black, was now brown, I had the dress on, I also had a pair of heels on and my makeup was done. I turned to hug Lexi, finding her smiling.

"You look sooooo pretty Riley" She said. I smiled.

"Thanks" I said.

My phone dinged.

"I've got to go but pass me your phone" I said. She handed it over. I typed my number and took a quick selfie.

"See ya" She said smiling.

"Adios" I said while walking out the door.

I hopped into the car with the boys. They rolled their eyes when they saw me. I laughed.

--At home--

I walked through the door.

"WHAT THE FUCK!!!"
