Never Again

Chapter 4

"Riley, Riley, babygirl, you've gotta get up, we're here" The calming voice of Dallas whispered against my hair. I nodded.

"D-D-Dally, can y-y-you hold me?" I asked, my voice shaking slightly. She nodded, and in one swift motion put me on her hip. Dallas made her way out of the car, with me still on her hip. Once we had gotten out of the car, the paps surrounded us, there were no gaps left. I started to panic, I think Dally noticed because she pulled me closer to her. The paps started screaming at us, like usual.

"Riley why is Dallas holding you?"
"No wonder everyone calls you a baby"
"Fat"
"Pig"
"Egg"

"Dallas, Riley, over here" I looked over in the direction the voice had come from. I felt relief wash over me. Selena. I didn't know that she was coming. One of her bodyguards pushed through the crowd and made space for us to pass through. I thanked him as Dally and I ran. He only nodded in response.

When we got in the restaurant, I motioned for Dally to put me down. She did as I said. I immediatly ran to Selena.

"Selly!" I shouted, jumping up into her arms.

"Ri Ri!" She mimicked me, smiling as I looked up at her.

"Selena, put Riley down, she's too heavy for you to carry, infact, no-one can carry her!" Demetria shouted.

I frowned and tried to struggle out of Selena's grip, but found that I couldn't.

"Hey don't struggle, you're so light, don't listen to a single word she says, okay" I could only nod in response. Demetria snickered and went to sit down at the table. Selena carried me over to the table and sat me down next to her, which, unfortunately is opposite Demetria. She smirked, then my phone dinged.

Demetria:
What you going to order? I hope it isn't something fattening :$

My eyes started to get cloudy.

"Babygirl, are you ok?" Selena asked. I nodded in response. "Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yeah, just got something stuck in my eye" I replied, while faking a smile. She nodded and turned back to ordering her food.

"Riley! Riley! Ri Ri! Are you there!?" I heard a voice shouting in my ear. I nodded, slowly drifting back to reality. "What do you want to order?" Selly asked.

"Ummm, i'll have the ceaser salad, and a milkshake" I said after glancing down at the menu. Demetria rolled her eyes.

I looked at Selena. "Not to be rude but why are you here?" I asked.

She smiled. "Demi rang and asked if I wanted to join you guys seen as the Fifth Harmony girls couldn't make it"

"Cool" I smiled.

Soon our food came. All the while when we were eating Demetria kept kicking me under the table, I must say it hurt like hell. I'll probably have a lot of bruises on that leg.

"Mom, i'm tired, can we go home now?" I asked. That was the first time anybody had looked at me aprt from Demetria, or course.

"No, you can't" Mom said.

"Don't worry, i'll take her home, i'm tired anyway" Selena replied. Mom nodded before looking away.

"Come on babygirl, lets get going" Selena said, after saying bye to everyone. I nodded and walked out the door with her, and didn't look back.

At home.

I got in the shower, and washed myself off. I got dressed and hopped into bed. I heard the door open, and light streamed through my room, it closed soon enough, and I felt someone hop in with me. As a pair of arms snaked around me I flinched, but then snuggled into the warm embrace.

"Night babygirl" Selena whispered.

"Night Selly" I replied.
