Never Again

Chapter 10

"RILEY WAKE UP!!!!!!!" Someone screamed in my ear.

"Leave me alone" I grumbled, turning over to lie on my stomach.

"IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!" The person, who I've now identified as Maddie, screamed.

"Fine, I'm up, I'm up" I mumbled, rolling out of bed.

"Mom said to be downstairs in five minutes" Maddie said, then happily skipped out of my room, shutting the door behind her.

I got off the floor and walked over to my closet. Just as I opened the doors my phone beeped. I sighed, walking over to it. 

Lauren: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Me: You too!!!!!!

Lauren: What are you doing? 

Me: Finding an outfit to wear. Can you help?

Lauren: Sure

Me: I'll face time you now

I waited for Lauren to pick up. Finally.

"Hey Lau"

"Hey Ri"

I looked into her emerald green eyes, they looked sleepy.

*Ten minutes later*

I'd now gotten dressed in the outfit Lauren showed me - in a grey sweater, a short black skirt, and thick heeled black boots.

By then ten minutes had passed. I ran down the stairs, being carful not to fall. 

"You're late" Well none other than Demetria Devonne Lovato is here.

"No shit Shirlock" I retorted.

"Whatever" She rolled her eyes and sat down on the couch, lying her head on Wilmers shoulder.

"Hey Wilmer" I greeted him.

"Hi Riley" He said.

I looked around the room. Mum and Dad were sitting on another couch, basically looking the same as Dilmer. Maddie was on another couch with Batman in her arms, and Dallas next to her. Then Lauren was on the last couch. Wait Lauren. How is she here? Whatever she's here and that's all that matters. 

"LAUREN!!!!!!!" I screamed. Running into her open arms.

"Hey babe," She murmured in my ear. "You look beautiful" She said, letting go of me.

"I could say the same" I said. She smiled, then sitting down on the one person couch, she left some space for me though. I curled up next to her, my head on her shoulder, and her head resting on mine.

*Three Hours Later*

"Riley, can you help me please" Lauren shouted from the guest room where she was staying. I ran upstairs, opening the door to her room when I got there. I saw her sitting on the bed.

"So what do you need help with?" I asked. Sitting down next to her.

"I've got a question that's been anoying me for ages, and could you answer it please" She begged.

"Yeah, sure" I said.

"So, um, Riley would you like to be my girlfriend?" Lauren asked.

I looked at her. Stunned. Her eyes started tearing up. I realised she was waiting for an answer. Instead of a verbal answer I leaned in, my lips lightly brushing hers.

"Does that answer your question?" I asked. She nodded.

"Lets take a pic for everyone to see" Lauren suggested. I nodded. She took out her phone, bringing up the camera to take a selfie. I leaned in, my lips lightly resting on hers. She took the picture, posting it, after adding a black and white filter. Tagging me in it. My phone buzzed. I laughed at the responses coming from downstairs. I heard Demi shouting in suprise.

"Shal we go downstairs milady?" I said in a fake british accent. 

"Sure babe" She said, grabbing my hand.

We walked downstairs hand in hand. She sat down on the couch, pulling me onto her lap. Mum arched her eyebrow. Maddie hid a smile. And Demi, well, Demi was staring daggers at me. 

"Sooooooo do you have anything to tell us?" Maddie smirked.

"Uh, um, we're dating" I managed to get out.

"Awww I knew it" Maddie started fangirling?

"#Liley" Dallas tweeted.
