"You are not going out like that," Michael said as he walked through the door.
"Why not?"
"It's too showy, it's like a big t-shirt it doesn't cover enough skin," he said sternly gesturing to what i was currently wearing.
"Michael, it's a dress," Sammy said next to me.
"Says who?"
"Says Calvin Klein,"
'Ring, ring'
"I'll get it," i blurted out rushing to the door trying to escape their bickering. I swung the door open and smiled at my late date.
"You're late," i said with a sarcastic smile.
"Sorry babe," Xander replied with a wink. "I was busy,"
"ah huh," i said crossing my arms over my chest. "an hour late? And here i was getting ready to change out of my outfit and put on a movie,"
"Well i'm here now ain't i?" I rolled my eyes and hollered my goodbyes to Michael and Sam, but i doubt they heard me.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"The racetrack," he said simply. I raised an eyebrow at him but he didn't see it cause he was concentrating on the road.
"To do what?"
"Race, of course,"
Axel's POV
I stood at the front door nervous and fidgiting. I really did like her, and the incident at the cinema did scare me, a lot. But i knew she wasn't like that. She isn't a cold hearted murderer. I've seen her smile, heard her laugh and seen her compassionate side. I took a deep breath and knock the door twice and stepped back. The door swung open and a man with pink hair rushed out.
"You know what? I'm leaving," he said throwing his arms in the air. I took a huge step to the side to avoid him running into me. He seemed really angry.
"Oh, Sammy don't be that way, i don't hate your fashion taste, i'm just saying that dress seemed really short," another guy walked out of the house following the guy with the pink hair. The pink hair dude crossed his arms over his chest and scoffed turning his head away. What a drama queen.
"So you're critizing my fashion taste? Well excuse me, but i've been in the fashion industry for more than ten years plus i dress Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift for all their galas and shit. So sorry for being a shit professional personal stylist." he stormed off back inside with the other guy standing in the same spot.
He sighed and muttered a few colourful words under his breath.
"Um, excuse me?" I said trying to get his attention. When his eye finally landed on me i gave him a small wave. "Yeah, hi, sorry to interrupt,"
"No, no that's quite fine, what can I help you with?" he asked straightening himself out and walking towards me.
"I'm looking for Cecily, did she come home?" i asked.
"She did but she left, i think," he said. I nodded and asked him if he knew where. He shook his head and gave a shrug.
"She's always out, but she always comes home in the end, do you wanna wait for her inside?" he asked me, i nodded and so he led me inside. " i'm Michael by the way, Cecily's guardian," he added. The guy with pink hair shoved past me dragging two black suitcases behind him.
"I'm leaving," he declared to Michael. He lifted his head once again and walked out.
"Just give me a moment, i'll be right back," Michael said to me and followed him out.
"Sammy! Wait!" he shouted racing after the pink hair dude.
I stood in the living room not sure what to do, should i sit down? Stay standing? I walked from one side to the other and back again. After awhile the front slammed shut and Michael walked in with a miserable expression. He caught sight of me and tried to hide the look but i'd seen it already.
"Make yourself at home," he said waving towards the really expensive looking couch. I sat down nervously and wiping the palms of my hands on my jeans.
"So do you know when Cecil's gonna be back?" I asked.
"Not for awhile, since she went on a date," he said offering me a drink. I shook my head and he took a sip himself.
"Where to?"
"No idea," he said. "But if i had to guess, it'd be the Race Track, since she was out with Xander, never liked the kid,"
I nodded and thanked him before walking out and making my way there. I had so many questions and they needed answers i knew only Cecil could give. And hopefully, hopefully after all this, we'd understand each other a lot better.
