For the rest of the week I stayed home, specifically my room glaring at the name on the end of the To Kill list. By the end of Sunday Michael had rammed my door open to find out what the fuck was wrong with me. When he couldn't get any more than a few grunts from me he left slamming the door on his way out. Sammy came in after an hour peeling my face off the desk where I was muttering profanities at the universe and dragged me over to my bed.
"Sammy please just leave me to die," I groaned falling back onto the pile of pillows.
"Come on Cecily, you can talk to me remember, you have been telling me everything since the day I first did your hair." He said giving me a pointed look.
"It's true, I've been spilling my guts to you for years," except for the fact I kill killers for money, although it's not as bad as it sounds, honestly.
"That's right so spill those guts," he said with a goofy smile.
I sat silent for a few minutes creating a story that was similar to my problem but didn't reveal my dark secret.
With a big sigh I look Sammy in the eye and said, "it's a guy,"
"Oo, now I'm fascinated, do continue,"
"Basically he was the one who came and started talking to me, but recently...for some reason he's completely pushed me to the side, and now I've received a project from a teacher that really acquires his um...presence,"
"Pull him away, force him into a chair and make him talk," Sam said with a shrug.
"Sammy, I'm being serious," I said glaring at him.
"I am too," he said with mock hurt. " I mean that's how i got Michael to confess his love for me."
"But i don't love Axel," I slapped a hand over my mouth.
"Axel huh," Sammy said with a grin.
"No, no," I shouted chasing Sammy out of the room.
"I knew it! It was a guy," Sammy screamed through the house.
"Sammy shut it!" I screamed after him.
"Miss Winters, Mr Darkwood, please, inside voice," Sonia snapped at us, pinching our ears and pulling us into the dining room for dinner. Darkwood...Darkwood, oh hell no.
"Hey Sam," I said nervously.
"Yeah?" He was rubbing the ear Sonia had literally pierced with her nails.
"Did you know that Axel's last name is Darkwood?" I asked him.
"Really? Well come to think of it, maybe we're related. His name did ring a few bells," he said with a shrug.
"Oh okay," was all I said but I was also mentally noting to myself to look into Sam's family tree. "Where's Michael?"
"Like I care about that asshole," he snapped glaring at the wall. My eyes widen and I fall silent, whatever they were arguing about this time, it mustn't be good, cause it's been going on for a week.
" Honey, I'm home!" Michael shouted from the front door.
"No one cares jackass," Sammy yelled back. When no ones replied Sammy got out of his seat and hurried towards the front door. Ha no one cares my ass, he was running towards him like a worried mother hen.
"Oh Mickey!" Sammy shouted with joy. I rolled my eyes, I should of known it was all a trick to draw Sammy into another one of Michael's romantic gestures. Before long Sammy was walking with a little black Labrador in his arms while looking up at Michael with starry eyes. I groaned and made my way back to my room. I wasn't going to sit through dinner with the two of them lusting at each other over the dinning table, I'd rather stab my eye out.
"Sonia, I'm having dinner in my room," I shouted, and think about what I was going to do with the whole Axel business.

Monday morning I walked into school without any worries. I had sorted out my problems and was...scratch that, I seem to have competition. I stared at the blonde bimbo and his twin as they strut their way into the school. To any other teenager they were hot twins that were sure to join the popular crowd within their first day, but to me, they were killers. Killers whom I've had to fight over for the kill.  I sped up to them and smiled,
"Anastasia and Hansel," I said greeting them with the happiest look I could muster though in my head I was already coming up with ways to kill them, and I like to kill dramatically. "This ones mine,"
"My dear Cecilia, we let you have the last one, so I think it's only fair if you give us this one," Anastasia snared at me, not even trying to hide the fact that she hates me. After our last encounter I'm almost certain the scratch I left on her stomach is still there, meaning she can't wear crop tops or bikinis without people asking unwanted questions.
"What my sister said Cecil, this ones ours," Hansel said with a charming and apologetic smile. Although his sister hates me, he has unfortunately had a secret crush on me since the first time I punched his face. And his actions of interest are anything but discrete.
"Hey handsome," I spun around to see Anastasia was already flirting with her prey.
"Hey," Axel replied with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and walked up to the two.
"Axel,"
"Cecilia,"
"We need to talk," I grabbed his arm and dragged him towards my car.
"Hey!" Anastasia screamed in the background, she huffs stomping a foot before storming off.
"Cecily what's this all about?" Axel struggling in my iron grip.
"Who are you?" I asked gripping his shoulders and staring right into his eyes.
"What do you mean who am I? What prank are you pulling here?"
"I'm being serious, are you dealing drugs, weapons, you a spy, ever killed someone?"
He stared at me for a good few minutes while I stared with hopeful and anxious eyes for the answer I wanted.
His next few words shook me to the core, they're words I've said before, they're words I don't like coming from a guy like him,
"So what if I have, Cecilia, so what if I've killed people, what are you going to do about it?"

I killed them, so what?Where stories live. Discover now
