The Unexpected Love

Chapter 1

Kate's POV

Kate! Kate! Wake up! Kurtline said while tickeling me, as she tried to wake me up.

Kurtline is my older sister, and she's also my bestfriend. For me, she's the best bestfriend sister in the whole world.

"Wah... What? What now? I'm trying to get some sleep here." I said, struggling in tickleness.

"I'd just opened my IG account, and I'd just found out that Darren will have a Birthday Concert on May 29 at the MOA ARENA." She said in excitement.

"You're not kidding, are you?" I asked in astonishment.

"Yeah, I'm not kidding. Well, here take a look."

She handled me her cellphone, I saw the picture and it really was true.

"Oh My D! We really have to go in this concert. This is one of my biggest dream, to saw Darren in personal." I said in mixed emotions.

I jumped and jumped all over the room and I can't control my happiness.

"But the thing is, we don't have money to buy the tickets." Kurtline said.

"Yeah you're right." I said pouting, I'd almost cry but, Kurtline tried to cheer me up.

"Maybe we can asked Mom and Dad?" She offered.

"Yeah, why not? Let's give it a try." I said and beamed, trying to be hopeful that Mom and Dad will let us go.

And then suddenly we heard Mom's footsteps were approaching. Before Mom went in the room, I quickly swiped my tears accrosed my face.

"Hey! Good Morning girls!" Mom greeted in a soft voice.

"Good Morning Mom." We replied.

"Fixed your beds now and go downstairs as you finished, the breakfast is waiting." Mom commanded.

"Okay Mom." We said.

So we did as what we were told and went downatairs.

Breakfast...................

Mom cooked bacon and eggs for the breakfast.

"Hey! Why so sad?" Dad asked.

"Dad?" I said.

"Yes Kate." Dad replied.

"We're just wondering if we can, if we can...... If we can go to Darren's Birthday Concert? You know it's one of my biggest dreams. And I hope you'll let us go. Please?" I said and begged.

"Actually, we're really going." Dad said.

I was really astonished when Dad said that we're actually going.

"Looked, your Dad and I had decided that we are really going, as a gift for you two and especially for you Kate. So after this, go and get suit yourself 'cause we are going to buy some tickets in the Mall." Mom said.

"Wait, how did you know about the concert?" I asked in my curiosity.

"I opened my instagram and I'd saw Kurtline reposted it." Dad explained.

"Well that's explained a lot. Oh, we really love you guyz." Kurtline and I both said in mixed emotions, and we hug them tightly.

"We love you too sweeties." Mom said.
